8Kays has continuously followed her inner call of hunting to new sound landscapes since her music career turned into the "8Kays" chapter. Always inclined to her vision to pursue, 8Kays has released amazing records on renowned Renaissance, Oliver Koletzki's Stil Vor Talent, Yotto's Odd One Out label, as well as great remixes for Berlin-based Booka Shade and Joplyn.
2019 was the year when we had 'Dance Alone' recorded by 8Kays together with Tone Of Arc and released with splendid remixes from Alex Niggemann and Olivier Giacomotto. The world is finally opening the curtains to music, so we can't miss our chance to share such a great EP with you.
'Respect Me' is the title track of this release. It is recorded with Lazarusman: the man of a word, the warrior of a poem. Lazarus is an artist who always brings importance to his works. There is always sense, feeling and message in his words. 'Respect Me' is a protest; it's a manifestation where Lazarusman is explaining his meaning of respect, so you just should listen to it. 8Kays sound design is super detailed in this work: stompy and energetic basslines are a great fit for all the melodic and extra-diverse elements of the track.
French producer Rodriguez Jr. is jumping on 'Respect Me' with his vision. Low electrified sounds with the long-sweeping background alongside the melodic enveloping plus rare and targeted dub-chords create a special remix and which we are very proud to have.
'Young Souls' is the next track of this release. Its hammering mood is recreated with the complex pressure-based bassline and retro synthesizer sounding guitar-like. Additionally, there is Aquarius Heaven on a featuring part.
His meaningful message was recorded during the pandemic peak-time period. It explains it all: the importance of choice, nightlife wandering and life realities we are facing each day.
Aquarius Heaven's vocals are brilliantly harmonized by 8Kays, she gives them a neat and encompassingly completed compositing feeling.
Happy to welcome Denis Horvat to the remix work. We've been big fans of Denis sound. It's extraordinary and unique, but certainly authentic. Therefore we knew the remix is going to be special even before Denis started doing it.
His powerful version gives a full spectrum of moods: detuned sounds, glitchy details and robotized Aquarius vocals are taking us to the breakdown which is worth the wait. Modulizing sounds on the breakdown give a long-awaited unexpected feeling which we are always looking at.
We'll keep on creating more for you, setting no boundaries. As usual.

Spectrum march head-first into 2022 with this dark matter platter from one of Manchester's most respected DJs: Jozef K.

Following releases on the likes of True Romance, Rawax, Last Night On Earth and Frau Blau, Jozef maintains the spotlight heat with his debut on the label founded by one of his biggest influences.

'I remember I closed an event DJing after Joris Voorn when I was 19 in Manchester,' says Jozef. 'It was surreal; I had watched him playing a few times previously and was completely awestruck to play after him when I was basically a little kid.'

Now 32 and really hitting his stride, Jozef lands on Spectrum with a distinctive, discerning minimal sound. 'These two 2 tracks are an accurate representation of where I am at musically at the moment - dystopian, hypnotic and atmospheric.'

We couldn't put it better ourselves. Stripped right back to the most mesmerising elements, tailored for deep mix creativity or those magic 4am moments, we suspect this isn't the last we'll see of Jozef on Spectrum.

Amelie Lens' trailblazing brand EXHALE presents the label's fourth compilation, introducing a new wave of stand-out techno producers to the label. The EXHALE label and party series have skyrocketed over recent years, hosting only the best in fresh new talent and pioneering producers. 

Kickstarting the compilation is resident AIROD with the raucous track 'Nemesis': straight drum arrangements and frantic claps are accompanied by spiking synths that haunt this track, with a dark and booming breakdown injecting even more ferocity midway. Following is Joey Risdon with 'LSD Reaction', a fast-paced, gritty techno stomper with industrial elements, while Vizionn takes us on a futuristic journey with robotic vocals and high-energy keys in 'Future Energy'. Tigerhead hits us with the celestial and booming 'Looking Glass', keeping the pace up with a rolling cut, while The Blackmailer follows with 'The Queen Has Arrived' - giving a nod to rap royalty with this twisted techno hit featuring a sinister, electrifying riff. 

Exhale resident Farrago teams up with Part Time Killer for 'The Keymaster‘, a strong, driving track with electric atmospherics and a slick, hypnotizing sample. Rudosa & Blicz's synergy as producers is felt with beautiful composition 'Split Your Love', a change of pace with a sharp, euphoric melody. ACOR comes next with 'Eat Sleep Rave Repeat', the perfect peak-time warehouse energy booster, with the title commanding listeners throughout. Flour takes charge with 'Invasion', easing into proceedings with an ethereal bleating choir, before racing synths take over and turn this into a vigorous weapon. Caravel drives on with 'Echoes Of You', keeping up the momentum with a frantic kick & hi-hat combo laced with yearning cries throughout. 

On the flip is DLV with 'Der Pakt', a heaving cut armed with an insidious synth-line made for epic peak-time moments on the dance floor. Nineted scales back with 'Euphoric Expression', initially presenting arcade-like melodies before throwing in twinkling keys and a ferocious kick drum. Next, Carla Schmitt dives back in with her contribution 'Red Ambition', firing fiendish and growling elements over the booming bass and rhythmic kick to create a mischievous energy. Chemtrailz is up next with 'The Future Is Matriarchy', a trancey expedition with enticing vocals and high-pitched strikes. Rounding off is WarinD with 'Techno Memories', a heaving yet grooving track with a deep, dark techno synth that wavers throughout.

N.O.B.A works the first project in MR.NOBA in 2003 to 2004 with the first EP of CHICAGO ZONE.
He's back in 2007 but a "Frenchtek" style with a most populars tracks : " Pannik ( E-Traxx), Do You Like.... (With Samuel Sanders) ( Reaktion), Planete Alfa ( Strukture), Multiball ( Strukture), Get Down (With E-Max) ( E-Traxx), Pixel ( Fanatix): the last track in 2010.

At this moment, MR.NOBA was known through festival & events as Bassleader, Summerfestival, Love Parade 2008...
But also played in clubs: Lagoa 2009, H2O, Complex, Cherry Moon...
With the evolution of the style, He will make his booking last one "FrenchTek" to "The Qontinent" in 2011 and goes away at this moment there quite as the composition and the mix.

Today he is back but this time for a new start, in a "Techno" style, a mixture of Old Club with techno current style .
The style changes and also the name : "N.O.B.A",
First Ep on Banging Records Label in 2013 and the creation of Metrotek Records, his Label in 2014. He sign with Other label : Autektone, DSR Digital, Subwoofer, Cayden Records, Coincidence Records, Mind Games, Technodrome ... and other.

Since that come back,his music was played and supported by the internationale name : Dj Rush, Sam Paganini, AnGy KoRe, T78, Charlotte de Witte, Deborah de Luca, Steve Shaden, Sebastian Groth, Laurent Garnier ... and many more.

And at this moment, the road is long and far from finished

Son univers musical est même supporté et joué par des artistes Dj Internationaux tels :  Dj Rush, Sam Paganini, AnGy KoRe, T78, Charlotte de Witte, Deborah De Luca, Steve Shaden, Sebastian Groth, Laurent Garnier ...  et bien d'autres.

La route est longue depuis ce "come back" et elle est loin de se terminé.

Nacido en Tarragona en el 87, la música fue siempre una parte muy importante de su vida. Educado desde muy pequeño en el conservatorio en solfeo, harmonía y piano clásico comienza con la guitarra eleéctrica a los 15 años. Con ella debuta en un grupo de ska y punk con el que realiza diversos conciertos y descubre su amor por actuar y la música en directo.

Paralelamente, casi al mismo tiempo, descubre la escena rave local, y con ella la música electrónica, y más concretamente el dnb, el psy-trance y el hardtek, lo cual cambia su vida definitivamente. Desde ese momento se declara amante de gran variedad de géneros, desde el techno más clásico, pasando por el trance,  hasta la mákina y progresive, pero siempre con una clara preferencia por el sonido underground.

No es hasta el 2022 cuando decide definitivamente obtener equipo de DJ y ponerse manos a la obra y empezar a crear sesiones tal y como él las entiende; donde caben gran variedad de géneros de electrónica, pero siempre con un tema principal: el baile. 

Ha pinchado en Freedonia, Kaeldelkord, Motors, Wolf's Vault, NNNA, varios eventos underground... y espera haceros bailar en muchos más próximamente.

Born in Tarragona in 1987, music has always been a very important part of his life. Educated from a very young age at the conservatory in music theory, harmony, and classical piano, he began picking up the electric guitar at the age of 15. With it, he made his debut in a ska and punk band with whom he performed various concerts and discovered his love for performing and live music.

At the same time, almost simultaneously, he discovered the local rave scene, and with it electronic music, specifically D&B, psy-trance and Hardtek, which changed his life forever. From that moment on, he declared himself a lover of a wide variety of genres, from classic techno, through trance, to makina and progressive, but always with a clear preference for underground sounds.

It wasn't until 2022 that he finally decided to get DJ equipment and get down to business, starting to create sessions as he saw them. A venue for a wide variety of electronic music genres, but always with one main theme: dance.

He's played at Freedonia, Kaeldelkord, Motors, Wolf's Vault, NNNA, and various underground events... and hopes to get you dancing at many more in the near future.
