ϟ "Mon Coeur" a.k.a. "Samson and Delilah (Aria)" by Klaus Nomi is a cover of the popular mezzo-soprano aria from Camille Saint-Saëns's opera "Samson and Delilah".

ϟ Pop singer Klaus Nomi would often end his concerts with a countertenor rendition of this haunting piece. It is sung by Delilah, in act 2, as she attempts to seduce Samson into revealing the secret of his strength.

ϟ This liturgical remix appears exclusively on "The Nomi Song" DVD: a fascinating documentary about Nomi, whose music blended disco, camp, classical music, and sci-fi. The first performance artist, indeed.
