#1 Who are you musical influences? My musical influences are The Blues Magoos, The Animals, Led Zeppelin, The Velvet Underground, Beck, The Aquabats, The Specials, Boards of Canada, Aphex Twin, Plaid, DJ Premier, MF Doom, Pete Rock, Mark Farina, Mr. Oizo, LCD Soundsystem and Justice.

#2 What methods/software/hardware did you use to complete your song? I started by laying down a basic 4/4 beat with the Roland MC-909 sample kit. I then decided to use the the "long" noises as atmospheric background for the song. I then put a sidechain compression to add rythm. I then noticed that there needed to be some sort of melody so I turned a 16 bar clip from those same "pad" noises into midi notes with Ableton Live. I took portions of those midi notes to make the bassline and all of the main parts of the song using various VST instruments. The whole song is based on those midi notes from the howling sample.
