A NOTE ON THE FUCKERY OF THIS SONG:

Although this song was written and presented as a joke at the time, it is obvious to me now that these lyrics adopt a macho reaction to feeling hurt and rejected, and are indicative of my own internalised misogyny. To respond to hurt feelings with a projection of toxic-masculinity, as a queer afab in relation to a woman is LOADED! I would not write a song like this today. It is very educational for me to look back on these lyrics and reflect on where I thought I was in my feminism and self-love process. There is definitely a disconnect between how I thought I was feeling and how I represented my feelings, especially when they could be protected by "irony".
