Revolution - The Love Gang

Nick Nobody is a producer, collaborator, songwriter, DJ and first and foremost a guitarist from Basel in Switzerland! Starting his musical journey at a very young age ingesting his parents vast music-collection of stuff like The Beatles, Eagles, Elvis Presley, The Moody Blues, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Grateful Dead, The Doors amongst others he quickly became infatuated with music-culture. Starting with quietly sneeking into his brother's room and secretly copying his music onto Mini-Discs so that he could listen to music all the time! At age 16 he decided on wanting to play the guitar after seeing a Live video of AC/DC Playing at Donnington Stadium. After months of begging his mom finally agreed to buy him his first electric guitar!
After a year of basic guitar-lessons and being bored with playing sterile-white blues from people like Stevie Ray Vaughan and Eric Clapton he got turned on by a school-friend to a band called "The Smiths" which changed his perception of guitar-playing forever! Johnny Marr being his main inspiration he devoured the band's ethos of joyous despair and the rebellious attitude of anti-estblishment and anti-mainstream!
Another turning point came when one day, he walked into a guitar-store in Basel and became acquainted with David Max (Ex-Psychic TV-Guitar-Player from New York City) who at that time was about to finish his first solo-record and was on the lookout for musicians to preform his songs live! Nobody gladly took the job and a long-lasting musical friendship began under the name 'The Sons Of The Void'. He began to delve into psychedelic music, discovering bands such as The Flaming Lips, Love, The 13th Floor Elevators.
After many gigs in and around Switzerland and a couple of support-slots for bands like Spectrum and The Flying Eyes, Max and Nobody quickly began writing new material which quickly cumulated into an album's worth of songs which are yet to be released. It took almost 3 years of agonising recording and re-recording of the songs. During which Nobody started collaborating with other musicians from Basel. One of which being Martin Aerni, aka. Discomurder (Ex-Zaber Riders) with whom he formed an Electronic-Rock-N-Roll Band called 'Sweet N' Tender Hooligans' who's EP "The Tongue Set Free" became a local favorite on a few radio-stations.
But not getting enough of collaborating with amazing talent he became acquainted with Canadian Jazz-Singer Sarah Reid with whom he quickly wrote alot of songs which lead to alot of gigs in and around Switzerland to great resonance from the listeners! Sadly the band had to take a break following complications with the singer's visa-permit in Switzerland.
The road is packed with alot of exciting music soon to be released by Nick's exciting musical journeys! Keep your ears open, because this fella needs to be heard!
