Gazing through the window of the maglev, you watch the endless sparkling skyscrapers slowly grow closer, framed by the purple twilight sky. From this distance, the city is a sea of shimmering neon pinks, cyans and purples. Even from here, you can see massive animated LED advertisements trying to catch your attention. 

Here is the city of lights, tech, and music. Here is the city you’ve dreamed of coming to for years. Welcome to the Amethyst Metropolis.

This tune has influences from old school hip hop, funk, new jack swing and even kawaii future bass, in addition to being a chiptune, and some musicians I was inspired by include: Bruno Mars, Fearofdark, branflakes (on Youtube, and @bran8bit on Twitter), @nobonoko, @farpie, and @idoge-451382705. 

I made the music in ModBox, and I tried to stick to 2A03 + VRC6 limitations as best as I could. The track art was drawn by me, and converted to pixelart using this website: https://app.monopro.org/pixel/.
