Traffic time again, but what can you smuggle from or into Bombay? Nothing is the right answer as Bombay is Mumbai now. But in an imaginary Bombay there is a need for disco, to be more precise: Solid Disco. And it gets even better: Sven Tasnadi (Moon Harbour, DFTD, Katermukke...) reimagines the already disco-ball-blowing original into a French House Hommage kinda thing. Before legendary Hector Moralez (Robsoul, Music For Freaks, DJ Sneak Classics, Magnetic, Pacha Recordings, AVOTRE , Materialism ...) gets bouncy on the remix.
Think global, dance local: a guy called Sven pays homage to the French, who heavily sampled New York's Disco, just like some Germans called Bombay Traffic due to their twisted love for the terrible traffic in what now is Mumbai. Before an American with Mexican heritage tears the house down. Peace, Love and Unity is a No Brainer.

We here at No Brainer headquarters are pretty sure this will change after the opening track of Headz Up's debut EP 'Talk Talk' hits the floors of the world. This dramatic piece of rhythmically superior techno is just too good to not name your newborn after it.

Mason (Animal Language) straightens 'Onoria' out, turning it into relentlessly driving car. Actually, 'Onoria' might be a better car name than a girl's name. No doubt it's a good track name.

'Talk Talk' is an even better track name if you ask me and it fits great with the triplet-tainted vocoder track, which is why the EP is named 'Talk Talk EP'. You can almost sing along to the track while you headbang to it.

Borussia (Top Billin) makes 'Talk Talk' into a kickdrum-obsessed techno anthem. This pretty much defines what No Brainer Records is all about: very stupid intelligent music for very intelligent stupid people.

Another great name for another great track is 'Pluvia', which means rain in Latin. Think synthetic raindrops recorded, looped and then scratched into a haunting rhythm. Tribal techno funk for acid Headz Up … just to drop that name again.

'Vowel Play' is what Them Jeans is best at. Need proof? Listen to his 'Tall Tales Podcast' where he talks to all our favorite artists on a weekly basis or just check out this EP to hear Them Jeans transform his oral fixation into some bass driven club music. 

The title track is a no brainer. Sing with it, dance to it, bounce to it, dream bout it or just love it. If life was fair this'd be #1 on charts all over the world. 

'Glass House' is beautifully fragile deep house. When I dropped it in the club recently it didn't brake though, but the crowd lost it. Well here it is and it comes with 'Cortado' as a third original track on here. Strong but smooth, pushy but soothing. One of my favorite tracks as well as one of my favorite coffees. 

For 'Vowel Play', we scored an amazing Prince Club (Snatch! Records) Remix. Trippy acid house on a 114 bpm. Autohypnotising slo mo mayhem. 

BS1 (Boys Noize Records) let the machines speak, turning the vowels into beats. Pleasure and pain under the influence of pure pink noise. A vowel belter.

Mr Carmack aka Aaron Carmack is a Hawaii-based producer blurring the distinction between Hip Hop and Dance Music in a progressive way that has even the most seasoned producers scratching their heads. His current rise to fame started with the self-released Bang, Vol 3 followed by the Life/Death EP,  which both achieved the #1 best selling album on Bandcamp consecutively. Supported by the likes of RL Grime, GTA, Plastician, Djemba Djemba, S Type, Elair Fifi as well as appearances on BBC Radio 1, Mr. Carmack's global domination has only just begun.

Jeffrees presents two brand new tracks from Mr. Carmack, "Birth Control" and "Hopscotch". "Birth Control" leads the way with twerk'd out hand claps over a jerky squeaky ass beat that shifts gear into a wavy yet compressed early 2000's Neptunesque synth line. "Hopscotch" follows that up with Mr. Carmack's own pitched up Sugarhill-like vocals over the most sloppy head knocker we've ever released.
