"From the Windows We Are So Far Away and Yet Closer in So Many Ways" 
When the quarantine began on March 2020, people were trying to make sense of their new reality of isolation. and my birth country, Italy, was one of the first countries to be seriously affected by the Covid19 virus. While watching Italians singing to each other from their windows I was inspired to write "Windows", a song that comes straight from those emotional images. "Windows" celebrates how music can create and recreate community, how singing helps to find resilience and hope, but most of all how this isolation became a messenger of our humanity.
