A clacking noise, blue smoke rises from a dim glowing point somewhere in the distance, a earth shattering cough echoes through the night. Surreal multitool present their ode to the litte glowing stick we put in our mouths on a daily basis. Diverse as usual the EP features 3 tracks which are generally on the darker and harsher side of things, but are all danceable to some degree. Also features a pretty rad bonus track!

Taking place in the stunning Hakuba Alps, Haruka delivered deeply mind-altering grooves into the night sky, with layers of psychedelia delicately teasing over intricate loops, all mixed with the precision of a veteran selector. 

Haruka is a longtime resident and co-organizer of the legendary Future Terror party, with regular bookings across Asia and beyond, including legendary venues such as Bassiani, Berghain, Basement NY & De School to list just a few.

Unequivocally leading the pack of talented Toronto producers, Carlo Lio has utilized his trademark hypnotic house and techno sound to cement his status among today’s world-renowned electronic music artists.

Carlo developed his unique style of fast-paced deep tech-house music in the dark and unforgiving world of the Toronto underground club scene, and his hard work and dedication paid off in 2008 when Dubfire’s SCI+TEC imprint signed their first track with him, welcoming Carlo into the label family with open arms and ushering in a period that has seen over a dozen successful releases. Over time, these tracks caught the eyes and ears of some of the biggest labels in the electronic music scene, allowing for further releases on Bedrock Records, MOOD, Desolat, Suara, Intec Digital, Mindshake, Inmotion, and No.19, to name just a few. One particular highlight occurred in 2011 when Dubfire and Oliver Hunteman commissioned him to remix the track “Diablo” for the renowned Cocoon Recordings, marking an impressive milestone in his career.

2015 was a standout year for Carlo in terms of releases, with a remix of Sian’s ‘’Diamond Shore’’ on Octopus Recordings, along with a huge remix of one of Basement Jaxx’s beloved tracks ‘’House Scene’’ on their official Junto Remixed album. Late 2015 saw his most recent release on SCI+TEC with the pounding ‘’Type-O’’ EP, followed up with a much-anticipated return to Suara with his ‘’Technicolour Boogie’’ EP which had remixes from Nicole Moudaber and Chus & Ceballos. And on top of this, Carlo provided Adam Beyer’s Drumcode Radio with an exclusive one-hour live from Stereo in Montreal.

2016 continued in the musical success of the year prior, with standout releases on Kaluki Musik with “iLL Shit”, Davide Squillace’s This & That label with “All Things Must Change”, and a special collaboration entitled “Feeding the Rhythm” with Nathan Barato on Nic Fanciulli’s Saved Records.

Not content with solely releasing on other artists’ labels, Carlo also has tried and tested experience at creating and running his own labels as well. His first label, Rawthentic Music, recently celebrated its 10-year anniversary in 2015 and has clearly established itself as one of the leading imprints of the past decade, garnering the support of many of dance music’s icons. And this same year also saw the debut of Carlo’s newest project – the promising label ‘On Edge Society’. This vinyl-only imprint boasts releases from up-and-coming artists such as Marco Faraone, Marco Effe, and Roberto Clementi.

Just as Carlo’s production accomplishments have increased, his touring schedule has also grown relentlessly over the years. Basing himself between Barcelona and his hometown of Toronto, Carlo has had the opportunity to play many of the best venues worldwide. He is a regular at BPM, WMC, Sonar, ADE, and has become a staple on the island of Ibiza, playing for parties at Music On, Revolution with Carl Cox, DC10, Blue Marlin, and many more. Carlo will continue to tour worldwide this year, and we can only expect his career to soar to even higher levels as he makes his way around the globe.

Riccardo De Polo - Ascension - COR12177

The epochal energy of "Ascension" captivated us from the very first moment, making it an ideal intro track. With its cinematic soundtrack reminiscent of "Vangelis", Italian producer Riccardo De Polo has crafted a sublimely ethereal experience that transports listeners into the vast expanse of space. As stars and planets drift by, the music beckons us to explore further, to surrender ourselves to the moment. The low strings serve as a booster until the rocket engine roars to life and the spaceship disappears into another galaxy.

Subsequently the polyrhythmic sequence of "Wahnstimmung" spirals abstractly far below the cerebral cortex. The driving bass drum, paired with shakers and percussion, propels the composition forward at a steady pace. The tension intensifies, painting a picture of liquid metal pouring into a melting pot. Pure, stripped-down techno as we know it from its origins.

"Inception" hypnotically takes you into a deep state of trance, engulfing you in a tribe's energy. It’s truly a classic Cocoon sound that has its very own place in Sven's sets. The vigor is palpable, the shimmering sequence will make the dust visibly glow above the open-air dance floors while the air begins to shimmer. Noisy snare drums heat the narrowed arrangement to the absolute boiling point. This is the energy we have been looking for!

The Dutch-American legend Orlando Voorn is back on the block with a very, very yummy 4-tracker that is masterfully channeling his deep love for Detroit techno and Chicago house. “No Cellphones” recalls Green Velvet’s classic Relief Records sound, applying a sinister bouncer voice that commands everybody to put their f***ing cellphones away. It’s quite a tantalising idea to drop this tune at an Afterlife party. “Raise The Bar” is a primo minimal heater for prime time usage, classic Voorn intensity through and through. The flipside harbors two gorgeous, summerly house tracks with plenty of soul for those sun flooded festival floors. Orlando Voorn reigns supreme.

MAYUDEPTH (Shiki Kyokai) is DJ and producer based in Tokyo. Her style is rooted in techno, incorporating various genres such as industrial, electro and breakbeats. This fusion expresses a powerful and profound worldview through infectious grooves. Her DJ activities span from principal clubs in Japan and abroad to the alternative underground scene to open air festivals such as Rainbow Disco Club. Her energetic and seamless mixing style has garnered a global following, with appearances on radio shows and platforms worldwide, including BOILER ROOM. She is also an important curator in the Tokyo club culture.

She is a resident and curator of "MOTORPOOL" which a bigundulation for Japanese queer party scene with DJ DSKE, She always continues to explore electronic dance music with a challenging and open attitude.

She first released her EP 'Sneakpeek' in 2018 on the 'Shiki-Kyokai' label, run by Japanese techno sound innovator DJ SHUFFLEMASTER. She has also released tracks on “Acid Camp(US)” , “Ohrfeigen(GER)” label. In 2022, a second EP, Angels from Hell, featuring movie director Umi Ishihara, was released, with a music video directedby Umi Ishihara released at the same time. and MAYUDEPTH's works have been supported by top domestic and international artists.

The master of dynamic modular synthesis returns strongly to Polegroup and with nothing less than a complete album under his belt. Alberto Pascual defines with his alter ego Ribé what contemporary techno should be, direct, precise, aggressive and mental all in one.
 
In these twelve cuts that make up his new album, the producer based in the mountains of Madrid puts into operation all his knowledge of electronic machinery to develop a discourse that bears his own signature and places him among the greatest exponents of peninsular techno at the moment.
 
Unlike previous works, this time we can perceive greater harmonic and emotional content in his productions, as can be heard in the first of the album's songs, which also gives the title to the double vinyl. Here the floating synthetic strings are combined with rhythms borrowed from the motor city in an exquisite way.
 
But things quickly change context in the second of the exercises, La Rabia, whose title perfectly defines the sensations perceived when listening. Here the roots in the British tradition are clear but always under the personal prism that he always brings to his inimitable works.
 
The extreme sounds continue in Itinerario sin Click and when we are hot, we return to calm with El Sutil Arte, where crunchy textures and broken rhythms combine to create an experimental and corrosive theme, but relaxing at the same time.
 
Ellas pick up the pulse slowly, with precision scifi details to give way to El Sigilo, which definitely sounds like the best of the Birmingham sound.
100215 returns to outer space and galactic funk as a prelude to El Nuevo Mundo, a superlative exercise in emotional electronica.
 
Inercia returns to the frenetic dance and the machine slows down again in El Aire, dragging and dense the concept, flirting with the industrial sound of the pioneers of the genre.
 
The end of the sound journey is approaching with one of the most outstanding pieces of the album, Avenidas, which is a perfect minimalist tool for risky mixes.
 
We Finish the trip with El Entusiasmo, a perfect techno anthem with all the necessary ingredients to demolish any qualified dance floor.

During stay in the UK in 2002, he was deeply influenced by the clubbing culture and the Squat Party Scenes in London. This propelled him into the art of DJ.
By 2006 he became a resident DJ for the Hard Techno Party PHUNK
Since then he has appeared in CLUB MUSUEM, a party held on a regular basis at UNIT. Then began to organize the Saloon side of CLUB MUSEUM&nbsp;; MORPHE.
In 2009, when SURGEON made his surprise appearance at ageHa as a secret guest DJ, 'NOV' spun the disks as a SUPPORT DJ. He was also the resident DJ for KURAGE, an event that was held irregulary at now-gone club EFFECT, Shibuya.
'NOV' is also a successful organizer of the annual summer party LALLAPALOOZA@KULA RESORT Eno-shima. In the previous years his collaboration with Xavier Morel stroke a massive crowd despite on a weekday.&nbsp;With the same CREW members he opens the doors for Hard Techno Lovers at&nbsp;addict-TECHNO NEVER SLEEPS, a party that's held  MIX on this ID(<a href="http://soundcloud.com/red_rabbit" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">red_rabbit</a>)&nbsp;
He is well-known for his depiction skills of the dance-floor audience with his tunes.&nbsp;The precise bold techno bass lines are his stem and the mastery of ramified genres are his petals. He blooms with class and pungency.
Recently he has also laid his hands on composing. In&nbsp;SOLISTA@LiquidLOFT he demonstrated a dancy-psychedelic vivid Chill Out Set through a lap-top.&nbsp;
