Lithuanian-based artist and the owner of the sunniest bar in Nida resort “Saulės baras” - Emilis San presents his very first track. His long-dreamed ambition for music production finally comes to the daylight in a form of “Particles”. Its nostalgic melody creates a trippy sensation while the boiling and punchy bass line make you move around. Emilis San sends huge thanks to his coach Jonas Calli, who helped him develop an essential set of skills and form his own sound, and Jaroška for neat mastering.

A crowd began to swell outside the club; people of all ages and from all walks of life gathering with one motivation: to dance. Beyond the doors the beat throbbed and pulsed, seeping out into the world each time the door cracked open. On entering the energy took hold of you instantly: the rhythms moving your body; the lights overhead sending you into a trance. Time seemed to stand still in here, there was no knowing how many hours had passed. But it didn't matter, as long as the energy was high, they weren't going anywhere. 

Remmah, the label helmed by Northern Irish DJ and producer Hammer, has called on the talents of several producers from all around the world to contribute to his Remmah Rundown compilation. Featuring old friends and new faces, and spotlighting both established and emerging producers, the release is a lovely spread of all the sounds that Hammer holds dear, from Italo disco and acid-techno to cosmic house jams. Several artists return to the label, the likes of Stevie Cox, Fossil Archive, Anna Gram and KILIMANJARO, whilst there's debuts from artists like Club Tularosa, YSANNE and our pick from Fucanglong files co-founder ALF CHAMPION and fellow Mexican artist MDHNTR.

There was more than meets the eye when it came to the city. For strange wonders lurked in places unexpected. Behind closed doors there was music to be made, a new kind of noise which would soon travel the world bringing hope and a sense of resistance to the chosen few who sought to hear it.

For this was like nothing which had ever come before. How could it be after all the great city had been through? The trials and tribulations were rooted in the DNA of the music itself. Detroit, a belongingness to the sound of a city which has burnt its bridges and risen from the ashes once more.

Ivaylo is set to release a new EP on Lab Cleaning Jams, a record which features a rugged slice of Detroit Electro Funk, reminiscent of the old school era. It is rounded off with a remix from Christian Engh.
