This was a blast to throw together and a set outside of the usual melodic/progressive vibe, but a great digression to announce my place in the AutoFest 2023 line-up alongside Darren Styles this July.

There are some thumping trance/techno stompers in this hour long set, so there's enough to shake off the festive cobwebs and show 2023 who's boss.

A set inspired by the power house duo that is Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren.  I must've played back their 2022 Loveland set well into double digits over the last fortnight and couldn't escape their influence in this latest set. Well, this set almost made itself.  A convergence of amazing recent breakbeat releases interwoven with melodic house and its one serious piece of chill for your hour.

I had a ton of fun putting this one together, my long overdue 10th instalment into my XPRSSN series of mixtapes.  As it culminated at the same time as my return to radio at the start of 2024, I thought it was high time for a yearbook style mixtape, pulling together all of the sounds that got me through 2023. XPRSSN EP#13 | MELODIC MIDWEEK MIX, Simon Doty, Rezident, Ben Bohmer & More

My sound (as a DJ and listener) has developed into the more progressive end of the house music spectrum.  So after playing some Ibiza classics gigs lately, it was an absolute blast to record all the tunes that I used to listen and dance to when I first started clubbing.  The sound in the early 2000's was a mix of nu-disco, house and of course, classic trance.  So expect to hear some new parts to this XPRSSN special over the coming weeks.  But first, we'll be going back to XPRSSN #14 for a breakbeat/garage chill sesh next!

This was inspired by the discovery of Enigma Dubz Vibes release back in March.  Some absolute belters on there with an indulgent retro feel, which prompted me to throw myself fully into the vibe and this is the result.  Hope you enjoy!

This was my set from the launch party of Resident DJ's newest club night, SOCO LOCO.  It was an awesome night and a supreme collection of DJ's playing the finest house, breaks, prog and melodic.
