XPRSSN EP#13 | MELODIC MIDWEEK MIX, Simon Doty, Rezident, Ben Bohmer & More

My sound (as a DJ and listener) has developed into the more progressive end of the house music spectrum.  So after playing some Ibiza classics gigs lately, it was an absolute blast to record all the tunes that I used to listen and dance to when I first started clubbing.  The sound in the early 2000's was a mix of nu-disco, house and of course, classic trance.  So expect to hear some new parts to this XPRSSN special over the coming weeks.  But first, we'll be going back to XPRSSN #14 for a breakbeat/garage chill sesh next!

This was inspired by the discovery of Enigma Dubz Vibes release back in March.  Some absolute belters on there with an indulgent retro feel, which prompted me to throw myself fully into the vibe and this is the result.  Hope you enjoy!

This was my set from the launch party of Resident DJ's newest club night, SOCO LOCO.  It was an awesome night and a supreme collection of DJ's playing the finest house, breaks, prog and melodic. It's taken me a little while to get this one out! Initially performed at Bloop London Radio back at the end of 2024.  It's been a wild ride so far in 2025, with my RESIDENT DJ agency and SOCO LOCO events growing, but its crucial to keep the music front and centre and this set was an absolute joy to put together.  Something for fans of classic anjunadeep as well as breaks versions of one of the all time great trance classics too.  Enjoy!
