For our 59th release, we are very excited to present ‘Rudiments’, a new album by Gooooose.

‘2022 was a strange time in Shanghai. The good thing about being locked inside for months on end was that I had had the chance to find the time to observe ordinary, everyday things that surround me and probably many other people. A pencil, socks, a packet of biscuits, vegetables, meat, or small thoughts or some feelings or emotions that last for only half of a second. They all have interesting shapes and very delicate structures, multiple layers, like some sort of primal architecture made by an anonymous person many years ago. They are constantly telling stories, however often ignored by me, or us, for whatever reason. I decided to sit down and observe them carefully, and later started making sounds for them and their stories.

We are stoked about our latest submission to our mix series, sent by a founder of experimental label POSTWORLD! personalbrand is a resident on Hong Kong Community Radio and has released EPs on forward-thinking labels TAR, Over My Body, and Infinito Audio Network. His productions have been played on Hör, Boiler Room, NTS, Rinse, Crack Magazine, and more. In his tracks and DJ sets, he fuses global underground sounds with experimental electronics, smashing together genres, influences, and tempos with the sincerest irony and a gleeful sense of chaos.

Athens based duo Ice_Eyes formed in 2012. They started producing leftfield electronic music forms and experimenting with modern club territories, techniques, and atmospheres. Since 2022, Ice_Eyes has become a solo project by Anastasios Tatsis. Ice_Eyes hosts a monthly show on STEGI Radio Athens , while during the last years the Greek producer has recorded many shows on NTS, Threads Radio, Rinse France, Noods Radio, Ma3azef Radio (Tunis, Cairo), HKCR amongst others. Affiliations: During 2023 and 2024 the Athens based producer collaborated with artists like Locre and Sueuga, producing and releasing music on labels such as Rainy Miller’s imprint Fixed Abode, DJ Loser’s imprint Magdalena’s Apathy and more. Ice_Eyes productions have been remixed/reformed from emblematic artists like ZULI, Renick Bell, Gallen Tipton, ABADIR, ZIUR to mention a few, while their material is featured frequently in DJ sets/Radio shows by Lee Gamble, ZULI, HELM, Szare, Endgame, Graham Dunning, Bapari, Lawson Benn (Public Order), Meuko Meuko and more.

José Hernández, also known as 1RM40, is a multidisciplinary artist
and electronic music creator bringing a fresh sound to the Latin
underground club scene. 1RM40 creates electronic rhythms inspired
by the multiculturalism and biodiversity of Latin America, particularly
from his hometown Quito and the Andean region of Ecuador. Allowing
himself to be influenced by his surroundings has given him the
opportunity to experiment with various styles projected towards
current sonority.
At the moment, 1RM40 collaborates with labels such as Cumbia Tu
Mente CTM (ECU) and Santa Sede (ARG), where he has released
EPs like Bootlegsinhos (2021), LXV3 (2023) and his first LP Virgen De
La Oscuridad (2024). These releases have opened a new stage for
the artist's projection, which results in creations that reference
tradition while embracing contemporaneity with dark and provocative
atmospheres.
