CMND CTRL is a brand-new imprint from Miami Florida based producer
Brandon Riley. Dedicated to musical expression, immersion,
technology, and innovation, we present to you CMND CTRL 002.
The CMND CTRL sound will focus mainly on the Techno and Tech House
related genres, and on this second release (CTRL002) we dive into a
darker, more tribal and hypnotic style of Techno.

King Snake lays the groundwork with its booming kick drum, seductive
percussion, and hypnotic synth overtones that continuously rise and fall
throughout the mix. A relentlessly driving track perfect for that late
night DJ session.

King Snake (Ray Kajioka Remix) Berlin based Techno wizard Ray Kajioka takes the reigns on this release’s remix duties and delivers a fast-paced take on the original mix. Ray’s production abilities are on full display with this remix as he rains down wild high hats and percussions
matched with a steady kick and well-timed synth stabs. A guaranteed
crowd pleaser.

The Passage brings a bit more of a dark and dreamy style mix to the
dancefloor with some well-placed percussion giving this track a
mysterious tribal techno vibe. Warm sounding sonic textures playout
through the mix, with a nice pulsing analogue synth hook driving the
main part of the track. Definitely a strong track to build up a crowd
with.

Following four acclaimed EPs across both Rekids and Rekids Special Projects, the Irish-born, Berlin-based Hybrasil returns to Radio Slave’s techno-focused imprint for his fifth appearance on the Rekids labels. Bringing four no-nonsense techno cuts across ‘Wild Blue Yonder’, Hybrasil displays his knack for crafting a wide range of deeply playable dancefloor-friendly techno.

Title track ‘Wild Blue Yonder’ leads with pounding kicks and bubbling stabs before ‘Abhean’ brings the tempo up as gritty synths unfurl across razor-sharp drum patterns. ‘Erimon’ takes a deeper turn, with dubbed-out chords and reverberant hits rumbling throughout, followed by the final track ‘Oenach’. In a similar fashion to the ‘Erimon’, elements of classic dub techno meet Hybrasil’s pitch-perfect production to close out the release.

Radio Slave announces Rekids Special Projects ‘Actualize’ compilation and DJ mix - Part 1 will be released in January, with Part 2 to follow in February 2023.

Rekids Special Projects, the no-nonsense techno-focused sub-label of Radio Slave, aka Matt Edwards’ Rekids, launched in 2017 and has since released music from the likes of Mark Broom, Luke Hess, Jon Hester, and more. For the 50th release, Edwards readies ‘Actualize’, bringing acts from the wider Rekids universe into one slick collection, with the first part arriving this January alongside a DJ mix of the tracks.

“The original concept was a vinyl-only offshoot of Rekids, focusing on techno and a home for our extended family of artists. We’re now working with so many new and exciting young artists, such as Confidential Recipe and the incredible Theo Nasa, and Rekids Special Projects is a rock-solid platform to shout about good quality club-focused techno music. For our 38th release we are very happy to present, 'Momentum'. A various artist EP featuring four floor focused techno tracks from Operator (UK), A Thousand Details, Sone, and U-SRD. From the UK, Operator opens up the record with 'Enceladus Outpost', driving and mental per his trademark sound. Seattle artist Sone, continues the expansive, heady theme with 'Accretion'. On the flip side, Portuguese artist A Thousand Details, delivers the goods with Treyarch Sentient, raw and powerful. Lastly San Francisco duo U-SRD present 'Not Everything You See Is Real', pounding and stripped back.

Launched in January 2022, DSC (Deepak Sharma Collection) is a new digital series where Deepak will be releasing an individual track each month. The project materialized from the pandemic as an outlet to keep busy and sane from the isolation. From fresh material to digging into the vault and editing older sketches, everyone was fair game.

The result is a collection of varied works where the sound is consistent with what Deepak is known for: stripped-down, rolling, and hypnotic atmospheres ideal for dark dance floors which he missed both as a DJ and as a dancer.
