With the New Year now upon us, Four40 have no better way to wish a Happy New Year to everyone by kicking off with a brand new release from DECiBEL. His April release last year on Four40, 'Skanks', saw DECiBEL team up with Grime Veteran Flow Dan for a carnival sound. This year he's back with a brand new track for the dance floor. DECiBEL brings the horns this time, with a stomping beat to shake the system of any party. Teaming up with the mighty Midland MC, Slick Don, they take you on a journey with 'Work' . A tune created to get all the ladies in the club showing the men, that they are the masters of the dance floor. With remixes by Hybrid Theory, Chubba and Jerome Price.This track will still be blowing up raves late into summer.


DECiBEL Ft. Slick Don - Work (Jerome Price Remix)

Brett Gould follows up his killer remix for Kevin MckAy on OFF Recordings and his much loved remix for Grum with this essential 3 track EP. 

We first met Brett handing out CDs at ADE in 2012. From there we picked up his trippy, 20:20 Vision style "You Say" for our Super Heavyweight release last Spring. Since then, Brett has gone on to remix Kevin McKay's "Club Trax" for OFF Recordings and record this varied 3 tracker for us. 

First up is Rhythm Drop. Now, if - like us - you're sick of hearing Double 99's Rip Groove being but you're definitely up for some system bending bass and rapid-fire garage beats then this is the cut for you. Like a cross between Martin Ikin's "Rhythm" and Gorgon City's "Thor" this a pure dancefloor monster. 

"Desire" is next and it slows things down and takes us on a sublime bass jounrey filled with spaced out vocals and trippy analogue licks. 

Lastly on "Burnin'", Brett keeps the beats heavy but adds in a more old school house feel to the bass and some darker, vocal cuts and vocodered hooks.
