The latest entry from Furanum sees label boss Dominik Müller and repeat contributor Tomohiko Sagae return from remix duties on the label's preceding long play release for a four-track split vinyl treatment of Fu020. On The Other Colours of Poison, acting apart yet seemingly as one, they both dispense with nearly any pretense of an introduction, epilogue, or abstract ambiences, and instead opt for a pure and dancefloor-bound effort of four-to-the-floor industrial relentlessness encapsulated in two compositions to a man.

Sagae notably eschews his signature noise-manifesto driven approach in favour of a compelling centering of groove as a prime determinant of musical force. The results of this approach are on display first in 'Tartrazine,' where a rhythmic mind-worm seemingly burrows it's way in, assimilating and holding the beholder in a frantic dance of oscillatory sway. Likewise, in 'Amaranth' an ineluctable sense of technoid acceleration is achieved, with each of the composition's successive loops driving the sense of propulsive sonic force relentlessly forward, not unlike the turning of a violent accretion disk tearing matter apart.

As for Müller, he builds on his previous work to construct two reliable aural vehicles for the delivery of unrelenting and thematically oriented vehemence. 'Demut' is like a scene of surrender to an engineered and shifting collosus, overwhelming all attempts at its full apprehension as cogent reverberations puncture the surrounding temporal space. On the flipside, in 'Toxic Environment,' he captures the narratively framed pulse of a phrenetically beating heart, beating on despite all odds through sheer force of will and self-overcoming.

Mastered by Kassian Troyer, The Other Colours of Poison will be available on vinyl and in digital format as of 2021.12.10.

"The System" is inspired by the deconstructivist movement and the creative strategies and concepts that it has developped in order to create radical architectural forms, those were transposed in the music context by 6SISS in order to build and de(con)struct the tracks forming this EP.

Belgian Peter Adriaenssens aka 6SISS has been keeping a steady output of releases since several years on labels such as legendary electronic imprint R&S Records. He delivers bruising off kilter rhythms stagger and lurches in mesmerizing ways that undercut the 4:4 hegemony, confusing and delighting dancefloors in equal measure.

Surit is better known as one half of NX1 and Nexe Records co-owner. Although he has previously presented solo works and collaborations for different labels, this is his first proper solo release featuring three original tracks from the man himself and a remix from the Greek artist ANFS. 

The A side opens with "Line Of Masks", a straight techno track with an hypnotic touch given by the voices evocating ancient rituals, a low bass synth pulling the track, trapping you from the very first beat. Next, "Neurodomination" is a harsher, heavier piece, with rude and hard-hitting percussions and a squeezed synth is taking control. On the B side, the EP homonym track "Bureaucracy Against The Joy Population", a non-compromised broken hard techno track evolving on expansive power, rhythmic and hatching into a melancholic and decadent melody. Last track of the EP is an ANFS remix. The Athenian producer elevates the track with his very own sound slowing it down, but kipping it in tension, aggressive and epic.

Over a year has elapsed since the last Nodrize Records release and this time they present us with their next reference, the 10th one. An Ep of a more extensive duration than usual entitled "Collision Of Forces" signed jointly by the owner of the Irrational Language label together with the Cadiz producer based in Granada, Atonism. A maxi that includes 8 tracks, of which 6 are originals plus a remix of each artist.
The album includes tracks of different personality and composition where they focus their energies on making the dance floor enjoy and get excited equally. On the one hand we find experimental sounds, drones and dense pads on tracks such as "Corium" or more melodic and deeper sound landscapes as in "Dimension Expander" and "We Are Rock Stars". The dancefloor becomes tougher and forceful with acid strokes in "Ye3gua2" and progresses through more inhospitable environments as in "Ancient Creatures". "Binaural Beats" sets a more and more frenetic and percussive pace where the drums acquire a fundamental weight. The Ep ends with the two remixes that give a twist to the originals making the record concentrate a well-executed work ground and where the Techno drinks of different styles and nuances.

Mas de un año ha transcurrido desde el último lanzamiento de Nodrize Records y en esta ocasión nos presentan su próxima referencia la numero 10. Un trabajo de una duración más extensa a lo habitual  titulado "Collision Of Forces" un Ep firmado en conjunto por el dueño del label Irrational Language junto al productor gaditano afincado en Granada Atonism. Un maxi que incluye 8 tracks,de los cuales 6 son originales mas una remezcla de cada artista.
 El disco incluye tracks de diverso carácter y composición donde enfocan sus energias en hacer que la pista de baile disfrute y se emocione por parte iguales. Por un lado encontramos sonidos experimentales, drones y densos pads en tracks como "Corium"o paisajes sonoros más melódicos y profundos como en "Dimension Expander" y "We Are Rock Stars".  La pista se va tornando mas dura y contundente con pinceladas ácidas en "Ye3gua2" y progresa por ambientes mas inhóspitos como en "Ancient Creatures". "Binaural Beats" va marcando el ritmo cada vez mas frenético y percusivo donde las baterias adquieren un peso fundamental.  Finaliza el Ep con los dos remixes que le dan una vuelta de tuerca a los originales haciendo que el disco concentre un poso de trabajo bien ejecutado y donde el Techno bebe de diferentes registros y matices.
