This playlist contains some recordings from Nodus' debut performance at the Renown Venue in Houston, Texas, Ovations. 

We were absolutely honored to have the opportunity to perform at this incredible place of the arts and had a beautiful crowd.
Our second night feature two amazing artist, one being the incredible Blake Opper on Tenor Saxophone. 
The other was apart of Nodus' new collaboration, featuring the beautiful Sherah Shipman.

What a night of music and art.

Rivendale (Night 1)

Hello!

We are Nodus, a trio of individuals that come from eclectic backgrounds and influences. All of us are currently studying at The New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music in New York City.

Nodus is comprised of:

Pianist Hyojin Kim - Originally from South Korea, Hyojin is a unbelievable composer and arranger. Hyojin has an incredible musicality on the piano with a wonderful touch. Additionally, Hyojin is always trying to make sure she brings all the necessary components to one's original music and provides such a deep emotional connection to all the music performs. 

Bassist - John Koozin - John is a unique bassist with an incredible sound and facility on his instrument. Originally from Houston, Texas, John brings a lively spirit to the trio and a very important foundation. 

Drummer - Michael Hojnacki is a musician working to provide what is necessary to all music that he performs. Originally from the suburbs of Chicago, Michael fuses his versatile training, eclectic experiences, and textural execution to convey a myriad of emotions and rhythms through a danceable beat.
