This is the beginning of a mix series in which I hope to explore aspects of music I love in terms of how they relate to human nature, experience, and culture.

This first mix is about a feeling that has inspired a wide variety of genres and musical movements. There isn't really an English word for it but the French call it Frisson; which can be best translated as "aesthetic chills". This mix represents an assortment of tracks that induce those particular goosebumps in me.
