Literally translated as the "First Power," the Adi Shakti mantra honors the feminine force of creation. Raio and sophie sôfrēē offer their beautiful interpretation of this mantra supported by Raio's deeply refined production and instrumentation. It is a journey across dusky landscapes, featuring native flute, kamel'ngoni, handpan, deep percussion, and a touch of african blues guitar. 

The EP features the original track and a pair of incredible remixes by Temple Step Project and Jungle Kitchen. Temple Step takes a lush-and-deep approach for his remix, layering eastern melodies, downtempo breakbeats, and silky subs to create a space for the divine feminine to truly flow and express. Jungle Kitchen offers a more steady tribal vibe, with solid slow house beats, gently growling bass, and masterfully chopped vocals.

This mantra is used to tune us into the frequency of the Divine Mother, and to the primal, protective, generating energy of the universe. It is said that chanting it eliminates fears and increases confidence, personal power, security, and abundance. It is also sung on the 120th day after pregnancy, traditionally honored as the day the soul enters the body.

These 11 tracks were born from a prayer to bridge worlds from the consciousness of the master plant medicine onto the dance floor. It came to life through the meeting and friendship with musician and producer Sahuna Love (Shaman's Dream), and blossomed with the help of Amani Friend (Desert Dwellers & Desert Trax). Each song weaves the medicine of the original, while beckoning listeners to explore and express their prayers or meditations through embodied movement. Since we have received countless blessings from the sacred lands of Portugal we are grateful for the opportunity to give something back. All the income from the compilation will be donated to fund an organization that is planting trees. Bachan combines her beautiful heart-opening voice with the first time collaboration of producers Mose & Binder. What started as a solo remix by Mose flowered into the magic it is with the special touch of Binder who joined the project and took a deep dive into the foundation set by Mose & Bachan. It is another beautiful example of how we can all support and inspire each other to manifest something special incorporating the essence of a few together as one.

"Caminante" is the second collaboration between Nina and Binder, the first, "Obrigado," was a magical co-creation released on Echoes From Venus that inspired the two join again to create a song about trusting the diverse paths we walk in life. 

"Caminante" is a song that illustrates surrendering to the loving path and respecting that everybody has their own rhythm in life...understanding that everyone's flow and how they choose to walk their path is essential in the knowledge that life is about the journey, not the arrival of the outcome.
