Love Like Rain

From the Bukas Palad Album "Hindi Kita Malilimutan" featuring Roy Tolentino and arranged by Palad Reyes.  The song is based on Psalm 96 and was first sung during a Sunday Mass in Santa Maria Parish, Iloilo City, back in 1996.

Give the Lord Glory

I wrote this song as part of the Bukas Palad album "Sing Forever" released in 2011, a compilation of Catholic charismatic songs also meant for the liturgy.  Arranged by Gino Torres.

Throughout Our Days

I wrote this song together with Erwin Arandia during the in-house songwriting workshop given by Fr. Manoling Francisco back in January 2010.  It was recorded as part of the Bukas Palad album "Sing Together" in 2011.  Like the other songs in "Sing Forever," it was meant for Catholic Charismatic worship and liturgy.  This is a song for communion.  Arranged by Norman Agatep.

We Will Rise

I made this demo with Ms. Maan Villanueva of Bukas Palad, with Mr. Jampao Reyes on keyboards.  This song was originally sung as the recessional of a friend's wedding.  It's my take on the classic lines from Numbers 6: 24-26: "The Lord bless you and keep you!  The Lord let his face shine upon you, and be gracious to you!  The Lord look upon you kindly and give you peace!"  Enjoy!

Blessing Song

Here's another demo I recorded earlier this year, with Jampao Reyes on keyboard.  It's my attempt to set to music my reflection on Ephesians 5:6-15, from which was derived the motto of the Ateneo De Manila University, Lux-in-Domino or Light in the Lord.  I imagined it as a communion song especially for the Easter season.

"Great Is Our God" is loosely based on Psalm 95 and is meant to be a Song of Gathering at Mass.  The artist is the Bukas Palad Music Ministry and the arrangement is by Norman Agatep.
