Noema at Planet C (beta) Festival / Fusion 2021

African Shakedown is back! 
After Ata Kak made so many new friends around the globe, we take you on another journey into the irresistible world of African rhythms and grooves.

The A-side starts with "O Ye", a groovy Afro-Disco floor-filler by Canada's one and only Eddie C. Its compelling groove and call-and-response vocals will surely heat up every dancefloor from here to Accra! 

This is closely followed by Berlin based producer Noema. Known for his highly acclaimed hit-edit of Ata Kak's "Daa Nyinaa", he takes you on a psychedelic trip, by melting the traditional sounds and voices of Burundi into a swinging House groove.

The flip side shines with two heavy hitters aswell: One third of Stockholm’s infamous Studio Barnhaus crew, Axel Boman is the man behind the re-rub of "Bayaya", which has already garnered mass approval by screaming dancers all over the world during his outstanding dj sets. 

To round off our trip, the Disco aficionados from Soft Rocks re-constructed "Disco Machine", a cuba infected Afro-Disco-Soul stomper nobody will be able to resist.

Legend has it that on a hot summers day, Noema went down the rabbit hole to the myth-enshrouded Sisyphos in Berlin, were he met like-minded spirits who were down for going all the way up. In a blink of an eye, Noema lifted them on his starlight back, spreaded his wings and took off with them to an adventure of unfathomable heights and blissful moments, hoovering on a wave of rainbow colors into a neverending sunset.

What a morning it was! After a full-on day of raving (excuse my partly sloppy mixing :-) ) to amazing music from other artists i had the honour to play during sunrise at the Bachstelzen aka Panne Eichel stage at Fusion Festival. The vibe was incredible, there was sooooo much happy faces around me. It totally blew my mind. 
I feel gratefull to be part of this amazing festival, a living utopia and example for peaceful co-existence of so many different people with different backgrounds. Keep it up!!!

NOEMA | PANNE EICHEL Aka BACHSTELZEN | FUSION 2019

Here's the recording of one of my favourite moments at Burning Man 2019: We were first riding the playa on this crazy mutant vehicle until we cast anchor at the Etznab art installation. It was truly blissful to do my favourite thing in the world while watching all this beauty around me. 
That day i was in the mood for bringing some south american and balearic jams. In the dramaturgie of my set you can feel the late afternoon vibes and can clearly hear when the sun hits the horizon :-)

Aire Libre 105.3FM in Mexico City asked me to play a little Jam at their Studio for Dia de los Muertos. I love to collect music from all kinds of genres, moods and times and have them in my library until the day i find a good context to play them out. For me, the beauty of DJing is the flexibility, to always find the perfect tune for the moment. And the moment is always different....
For this occasion, i selected some extra psychedelic, dark and somewhat experimental tracks. Some of tunes are real gems that i have since years, but never played them.... so i'm happy i finally found a good fit for them!
