This is much more minimal than my usual output. I’m not very good at technical terms, or explaining, but I set a slow LFO to guide a silence whilst also trying to follow a metronome that was at a slightly different time. As a result I’d trip over myself, and I found it a something meditative experience as I recorded each track to intuit what was going to happen. Repetition without total order. The constant rumble, well, I call that tinnitus. 

It was and is raining heavily outside my window as I recorded and write this, as it has done for the past two months (UK). This is the ideal way to hear it. If there’s no rain where you are, maybe run your shower and listen from the other side of the door.

Hey loves! We are NOESISKISS! 😘.. A DIGITALLY DRIFTING, HYPER—FEMININE, POST-POP band that exists in the universe of the upcoming graphic novel/video game Milosc. We are Mai, Nao and Aki Rosenthal and we are all sisters with our older and shyer brother Ren Rosenthal behind production duties. Mai loves My bloody Valentine & older Krautrock groups. Nao loves every single K-Pop group but grew fonder of post-punk rhythms. And Aki loves the group Air and more ambient melodies. Together we grew up finding old, broken CD’s in the gutters of Gotoku with these yellow “Tower Records” stickers on them so we decided to collect them for fun because the pictures inside were cute to look at but once Aki found something labeled “CD PLAYER” we realized the discs fit inside and made sound! After that our lives changed in ways we never could’ve imagined. Hope you enjoy our tunes! And watch for our appearance in the upcoming video game Milosc! 💜
