Within each one of us lays etched and inscribed an ancient code, written in gold calligraphy on strands of DNA... suspended in our being... these codes are a branch from a tree that holds a deep history within its roots... We face a time when our generation must remember the way of our ancestors... We must turn inward to discover the truth, and remember what we carry and where we come from... we must protect the sacred things of earth and remember who we are and what we are here to do... within these codes rests the tones of the planets and the genetic keys to our creation... Spirals, circles and rotations woven into vibration with intentions to repair, thread and weave life's energy into being...

"Sending peace to all my people worldwide. Musicians, writers, breakers, beat makers, dancers, artists, poets, revolutionaries, wisdom keepers and all sentient beings, this is the story of “Bamboo by the Bay.” In 2007 I walked into a rare arts gallery looking for unique treasures. The owner of the gallery was a collector of antiques, sculptures, fine art and instruments from different remote regions of China. After looking at the unique pieces in the front I felt a magnetic pull towards the furthest corner of the gallery where the light was dim and the artifacts were not as well polished. Underneath a large standing stone dragon I found a dusty barrel of old bamboo flutes in many keys, shapes and sizes. I spent hours playing all the flutes I could, intuitively seeking a flute that might deliver the sweet sound I was hearing in my mind. After several failed attempts to play some of the old flutes I found a Xiao bamboo flute, in the Key of F minor, made in traditional style many years ago, still in mint condition. The Xiao is a very ancient Chinese instrument, thought to have developed from a simple end-blown flute used by the Qiang people of Southwest China in ancient period. Xiao flutes are known to be more difficult to play, they require a certain breath and this was the only flute I played with which I could generate sound. I have preserved this flute and deeply appreciated its rich resonance for over a decade. Although I still feel I have much to learn about this precious instrument, I have always felt a strong inspiration flow through me to create music, made with the Xiao flute and warm Hip Hop beats. To honor the life and the spirit of this instrument I wish to share with you the “Bamboo by the Bay” EP, a blend of Xiao flute woven with deep Hip Hop drums to introduce the rich tones and the wisdom in the rhythm." - Noetik the Alchemist

Feel me as I pause in time, I sit with the divine feminine, sipping on some vine as I recline. Words thrive in my mind hive while I structure my design.. Immortal lotus, slight lean as light beams form streams of flow dust, slow down and bust flows with us. Caught up in the star light, a conduit for concepts. Slow tantric hips, vibe lifts, lick lips and guide it. Slow freak on the grind it's the frequency that phi hits, golden ratio reiki Thai sips. slip, fit, quick, close your eye lids, burning songs on papyrus, decoding cryptic wisdom from within what is inside us. It is written, that one day we will all stop and listen. May we stop the crimes that prevent us from surviving. May we wake up realizing that we are all the creation rising. We are all god inside beings selected for what the ocean tide brings, may we put an end to all the violence, political crimes and what the lies bring. Art speaks truth, let us find peace, flourish and let us thrive please. These are the desires of Intrinsic beings, living things and all sentient beings aligning. <<>>

Immortal Lotus (Ritual Mix)

In alchemy, Mercury is considered to be the "radical moyst", the primitive or elementary water containing the seed of the universe fecundated by solar fires. The Egyptian solar barque floating on the water of space corresponds to this idea in that the sun in the barque represents the Hermetic basis of gold or the "philosophical sun". The water is that same basis or substance made liquid, while the barque symbolizes Nature piloted by the Sun, who conducts his work upon the Moist or Mercury. Thus, Mercury or Budha brings forth from the Deep the moisture of life suffused with the fiery Logoic spark of their creator. In this sense, Mercury is more mysterious than any of the other planets and is the perpetual companion of the sun, standing between it and the moon.
Symbolically adorned in a pale golden hue, Mercury is the watcher over earth. Viewed as standing between the sun and the moon, Mercury acts as the observer, the symbol of the mind. Thus, Mercury is the thinker, the reincarnating Ego and link between spirit and matter, the messenger between the divine within and the personality. This merging of mythical solar and lunar elements is reflected in the belief surrounding the duality of the planet's influence. In human beings, this operates variously, depending on whether the mind is reflecting the activities of matter or turned inward upon those of spirit.

Circles (Feat. Deva Carolina)

Reno, Nevada legend Niles Quinn and Noetik the Alchemist step into the studio to bring you a unique production filled with turntablism, big drum beats, bass waves and esoteric drops while painting landscapes with lyrical precision; the style is "Gong Fu".

Gong Fu, meaning something that requires great skill and discipline.
In Chinese martial arts, the term kung fu refers to any skill that is acquired through learning or practice. It is a compound word composed of the words 功 (gōng) meaning "work", "achievement", or "merit", and 夫 (fū) which is a particle or nominal suffix with diverse meanings. "Gong Fu Cha" is the Chinese tea ceremony and the Chinese way of drinking tea. Literally translated, gong fu cha means "making tea with skill" or "making tea the right way".

Big thanks to everyone who made it out to the showcase. Special thanks to The Get Down PDX for hosting and creating a dope space for musical artists to share their talents. Truly an honor to open up the night for Qbert & DJ Numark; two extremely talented DJ's and beat makers who have really inspired me and contributed so much to DJ culture and the art of Turntablism for over 2 decades and counting. When I started DJing in 2004 I would listen to Qbert live during his tours and collabs with Invisibl Skratch Piklz, I have bought countless dirt style records and spent many hours practicing my scratching techniques in the basement, but I never imagined I would be sharing a stage with him or DJ Numark who has been in the game representing Jurassic 5 for over twenty years. The amount of time these two have put into their craft is really what it looks like to merge your passion with your talent and bring it to an audience with crazy amounts of skill. Big Ups Q & Mark. Looking forward to more showcases like this. I love DJing and providing soundscapes for all types of dance environments, but plugging in the 12's and focusing an entire set on turntablism is def my favorite way to tell a story.

The dragon symbolizes power, strength, and good fortune and represents royalty (the Emperor), wisdom, and prosperity.
