Mr.Diamond discussed how the release came together, stating: “Dance with me EP is the result of testing my sound on more than three-hundred songs over the last two years. I like my sets to cover all spectrums of house music, so I took this approach when making the EP.” 

Dance With Me sets the tone, with jazz-fused horn string samples cosying up next to stripped-back kick-hat combos. It’s a signature peak-time offering that highlights the young talent at his best. Bongomastic takes on a darker edge, as murky drum loops converge on punchy late-night percussion. London Bass rounds off proceedings, a pacey minimal-laced number that you can’t help but move your feet to. 

Mr.Diamond has taken the electronic music scene by storm in recent times. His maiden release came in 2019 and he’s since gone on to produce for a selection of contemporary house’s leading labels, including Solid Grooves Raw, Saved Records, Seven Dials and many more besides. Dance With Me EP marks a career milestone, a testament to his keen-ear for production, and sets the tone for a bright future that will see him continue to rise up the global dance ranks.

-How long have you been creating music?
I've been creating music for about 6 years now.

-What do you use to make your tracks?
I use Live 10 with a Maschine MK3 and a basic MIDI controller.

-How and when did you discover Dirtybird?
I discovered Dirtybird for the first time when I was 14 years old. 2013. I was starting to go to clubs and when I started looking for the songs that played on those nights, Dirty's tracks were always my favorites.

-Which Dirtybird artist would you most like to collaborate with?
This one is difficult… I can't name just one. But I think it would be amazing with CourT, Sirus Hood and Lubelski.


-If your whole life was a movie, what title would best describe you?
The Real Laza in Music and Madness

-What's the best show you've ever been to?
Jorge Ben Jor in Curitiba

-If you could time travel, where and when would you go?
Probably to Woodstock

-Which species of bird best describes you and why?
Arara Azul
It is a rare Brazilian bird that is in danger of extinction.

-What does Dirtybird mean to you?
Dirtybird means a lot to me, the beginning of everything! It was the first record label I really started listening to and it made me want to learn to play. It taught me a lot, what a label was and the whole story behind it, the essence, the originality and most importantly, the fun. When Bruno Furlan started releasing on DB I was crazy about his tracks, I saw him playing for the first time and I started to like everything DB represents even more. Bruno was a huge inspiration for me at the time, and still is. I remember dreaming of maybe one day being a part of it and now I'm here! Crazy!

Spanish stalwart Dennis Cruz returns to Crosstown Rebels this March with a solid four track EP that sees him join forces with Los Suruba for the title track.

Title track Uhuru opens the EP with a tantalising groove, tribal vocal hook and mesmerizing percussion, inducing a trance-like state. The permeating bass of Notche enters next as it throbs throughout the track, building into a hedonistic spacetrip. Los Libros is a rawer offering with a stripped back percussive section and beguiling female vocal hook. Loco closes the EP with its deep, hypnotic rhythm and an air of darkness that is blended with scintillating synths in the breakdown before diving headfirst back into the intense beat.

Dennis Cruz’s musical journey has seen him win high-praise for his output with a number of awards and nominations including Best Producer in 2017’s DJ Awards. Italian Dj & producer Vincenzo D'Amico is delivering fun and ready-to-play tech-house for the dancefloor in his brand new release called 'Giamci EP'.

Francisco Allendes and Baum made their own versions of the original tracks so the whole package is for the likes of a wide range of electronic music lovers. 'Self Made' has the amazing voice of Lina Simons leading the track. The London-based singer add some spice and flow to a solid beat with dynamic breakdowns and drops. Half Chilean half Ibicenco Francisco Allendes built a fat bassline around some vocal slices and a crazy cowbell twisting the original track in an amazing remix. 'Giamci' was made around a crazy sample, like in the late 90s but with 2021 feeling. Usual suspect on the label Baum take this sample and went deep in the filtered house plan making an up-to-date house music bomb.
