Welsh duo BRODYR make their Time Bandits debut with their ‘Show Me’ EP this February.

BRODYR are no strangers to the dance music industry, having released on labels like Libero, Unnamed & Unknown, Pure Enjoyment and many more, as well as the success of their label Black Seven Music. This February sees them making their Time Bandits debut, with a fire two-track EP, ‘Show Me’.

The release kicks off ‘Show Me’, with its energetic percussion, a groovy bassline, and a catchy vocal that will keep you hooked throughout the entire track. 

‘Rollover’ follows on in a similar suit with its groovy percussion & catchy synths, with a more Latin vibe to the vocal, laying down a high-tempo terrace roller.

Way Out Records invites Italian newcomer Pheelo to the label for his debut release, 'That's The Way'. With a severe vocal at its core, it combines sharp percussion, slinking bass grooves and sweeping melodies amongst energy-charged snare rolls and builds for a crisp, heavy-hitting cut made for the floor.

But that is not all, the release includes a remix from the Kaluki boss Pirate Copy.

Way Out unveils its 2024 ADE Sampler, inviting six new artists to the label, a mix of residents and new faces. One of the most important years, 2024 has been a year rich with good goals to remember for Way Out as they host stand-out shows abroad between Barcelona, Milan, and Turin, including OFF Sonar and Ibiza for the first time alongside the recent appearances at 93 feet east for the summer series Fabric and E1. The Ade Sampler is a diverse release V/A compilation featuring new talents, resident artists, and impressive regulars. Co-founder BRADII collaborates with Argentina Boros to add one highly requested signature track to the compilation, following peak-time and after-hours anthems from new and upcoming artists KiRKie, Nick Edwins, RedVibes Stephen Popov signed to the label, and resident artists Verso and Tim James.

The knowledge of the liquid fire was kept so tightly secret that - ultimately - it got lost. This was until Greek DJ and producer George Adi (SCI+TEC) reignited the flame by signing the ninth release on La Zic, bolstered by two remixes from BizZa and FIRZA with his Liquid Fire EP. The originals wink to the minimal techno realm with tight, marching grooves, flowing sub-bass, sick arpeggios, and early 2010s minimal percs. On the remix duties, the duo of the moment and Ushuaia Ibiza DJ-contest winners FIRZA (elrow Limited) takes the track to the next level with uplifting synths, hi-octane grooves, and unwavering mainstage attitude, while Barcelona's very own BizZa (Hottrax, Tamango Records, Take Notes) keeps things nice and rolling with a bubbling and more intimate version. The flame is never subdued, and so is La Zic's sound.

"Terreta” is the way we affectionately call our land, Valencia. That is why this compilation of House and Tech House music is named “Techrreta”, in honor of our beautiful city. 

Our goal with this VA is to unite Valencian music creators and those artists who have a connection to our city, in order to raise funds to help those who need it most, rebuild animal shelters, provide food and water to those without supplies, offer clothing and repair homes that urgently need help. 

On October 29, 2024, flash floods devastated much of the southern and western areas of the province of Valencia, along with several other regions in Spain. This catastrophic event caused storm surges, collapsed bridges, and left thousands of people stranded on roads and streets, ultimately leading to a death toll that is now estimated in the hundreds and tragically continues to rise. 

Homes, animal shelters, businesses, vehicles, fields, personal property, and families have suffered immensely from this disaster, an event that surprised thousands of people on the streets, going to and from school, work, and daily life, with little to no warning. Ten hours later, dire alerts came through our phones, leading to even greater tragedy.

“Terreta” is how we affectionately call our city, our land, Valencia. That is why this compilation of House and Tech House music is named "Techrreta”, in honor of our beautiful city.

We are incredibly grateful to have a community of artists and music-making friends, both from Valencia and other cities and even countries, who have generously donated their work to help with relief efforts. Our hearts go out to all those who have suffered loss.
