UK mainstay Denney steps up to Rekids, backed with remixes by Nic Fanciulli and Frankey & Sandrino.

Denney's name is synonymous with quality, with previous productions landing on labels such as 8bit Records, Crosstown Rebels, and Nothing Else Matters. For his latest release, Denney teams up with London-based actress and singer Charlotte Riby to craft ‘Catch The Heat’ for Radio Slave’s Rekids, backed with two killer remixes from Nic Fanciulli and Frankey & Sandrino.

Across 'Catch The Heat' Riby's vocals bring a touch of old-school class to a warm and soulful House track, steeped in New York history with fresh production flourishes that are sure to make it an anthem this summer and beyond.

On the flip is Nic Fanciulli’s remix, the Saved Records boss, who turns the original into a more techno-leaning cut with the vocals taking on a gospel quality over pulsing drums. German duo Frankey & Sandrino’s interpretation rounds out the release with a dramatic trip dripping with elegance that will have the dance floor in raptures.

Gregor Tresher kicks off 2015 looking to break new soil with his first ever full release for John Digweed's Bedrock Records.   

Last year was as hectic as ever for the Gregor and he came into it on high from the success of his artist album Nightcolours and having closed out 2013 by releasing an astonishing Laurent Garnier remix of the title track, on his own imprint.   Time to relax a little maybe? Not a chance. January saw the remixed version of the album hit the stores and this was backed within a few weeks by 'Taurus', Gregor's enticing collaboration with Petar Dundov. The summer saw him remix the Chymera classic 'Shadowdancer' and he closed 2014 with the superb 'Midas / Disturber' double-header.   

Somewhat of a musical chameleon, Tresher is as at home creating deeper shades of house for the likes of Moon Harbour and Ovum as he is techno rhythms for Music Man, Cocoon and Drumcode.   With label boss Digweed a huge fan, Bedrock is yet another perfect fit for the German and he opens his account with the mighty, melodic and Kraken'esque 'Goliath' and the razor-sharp lightning bolt that is 'Stormblade'.

Our next release comes fresh out of the studio from Ohmme, a two-headed sonic monster created by Olivier Giacomotto and David Lecocq, They have been releasing music under this alias on some of the best labels in the business for some time now so we are delighted to present their latest work on our Limited imprint. 

The first of three great original tracks is titled 'Fashion', an up-tempo and high energy roller with intense frequencies at every angle. A robust peak time jam, laden with catchy percussive elements that will definitely get you moving. Inclusive of beefed-up drums, rumbling tonal sub-bass and plenty of character. Prepare yourself for some killer buildup and thunderous drops that come at you head on, whether you're ready or not.

Seconds out, 'Peep' leans more towards the groovier end of the spectrum whilst maintaining many of the characteristics of its hyperactive predecessor. Another track with impressive low-frequency elements, heaps of rhythm, a warped vocal backdrop and captivating melodics throughout. A definite vibe builder at very least!

Closing out the release is 'Time'; another groovy affair. Again more of the same heavyset drums and a thunderous, minimal bassline. One trend throughout the release is Ohmme's collective ability to create widened spaces within their non-conventional buildups; they fall outside of the apparent or expected format of modern tech house, allowing for some unexpected yet cataclysmic throwdowns on the drop! Yet another track with some awe-inspiring melodic traits being front and centre.
