The Toxic Avenger & Greg Kozo return to Enchanté Records to release four modulated techno cuts entitled ‘Modular Session #2’.

The Toxic Avenger is a well-known French producer with a handful of self-releases and albums on Roy Music and regularly produces music for video games and movies while Greg Kozo is a fellow Parisian with releases on Roy Music and Ultra Records. Following ‘Modular Session #1’ released on Enchanté Records earlier in 2019, the pair return with part 2 featuring four tracks that were recorded live in one take using only a modular system in the centre of France.

‘Victims’ kicks things off with warming pads, fluttering melodies and euphoric modulations in the distance before ‘Rome’ fuses meandering oscillations, resonating kicks and thick bass grooves keeping the balance of the track.

‘African Rubber Band’ then offers up effervescent percussion layered with popping compositions and powerful analogue elements until ‘Autofire’ rounds things off with a beatless soundscape throwing down twisted sound design and introspective experimentalism.
