Disaffected’s vision for this EP was to create an evocative sonic journey, crafted in the face of our contemporary disillusionment. With "Somnambulism", I invite listeners into a dreamlike exploration of the subconscious, where reality blurs with the surreal. This body of my work weaves together heavy basslines, haunting melodies, powerful rhythms, and atmospheric textures to evoke the feeling of wandering through a world just beyond the edge of wakefulness—dreaming with eyes wide open. The concept reflects that paradoxical state of being fully awake and aware, yet lost in a dream-like experience. It's as if the mind is caught between two worlds—one grounded in the physical, and the other in the realm of the intangible and unknown. Each track captures the transient emotions, fragmented thoughts, and vivid imagery that emerge in this in-between space, where the boundaries of reality and illusion dissolve, and both clarity and confusion coexist. It’s a journey through the subconscious, where one is both lucid and adrift at once—feeling the weight of the world while also drifting through the depths of an inner dream.

So this is a Reboot of 'We Own The Night' we did for Big Beat / Atlantic Records for their Artist TONITE ONLY who we are fans of!

The original track has pretty powerful synths/chords which are great so we sorta ran with that vibe and thought we would give it a really deep stabbing / resonating drops that swell as the song progresses, like most long and dark nights... or something along those lines, we aren't writers...

FUN FACT: In 1980 Pablo Escobar and his cartel were spending 2500/month on rubbers bands just for their cash...

Started out as drum n bass jungle dj in 97, but in 2001 co-founded my label Jenka-music and began exploring more experimental sides of electronic music, basic idm, breakcore , electro acoustic (Musique concrète), noise  and so on! i study electronic composition on the royal academy of music so began going abit in to my own domain. 
i Still Dj Drum n bass, and usualy the hardest possible and ONLY vinyl (wink wink), but in production , my love lies in melodic electronica in all its forms.
My tracks are basicly just for fun, small mental states captured for later analysis! diaries....
so many tracks are finished in one night as i tend to move on the next day!.
