Inspired by his brother's love for heavy metal, Victor learned to play multiple instruments and joined bands during his formative years. He pursued electronic music production in university, drawing influences from Daft Punk, MTV, and Fruity Loops. As a DJ, he refined his skills through challenging experiences, learning in the field without decks at home.

In 2013, his first European tour marked a turning point in his career, exposing him to Europe's progressive club culture. His international profile grew rapidly, eventually leading him to relocate to Berlin in 2018.

Siempre me he inspirado en la música que para mí es atemporal y suena de alguna manera clásica, por esto siempre intento ir a la raíz de la producción y uso tracks que realmente son producidos en los 90s e inicios de los 2000 para crear esa atmosfera que me identifica.

JRD, based in Antwerp Belgium, brings a fine combination of solid techno and detroit electro. A moving mixture of old and new stuff collected through the years. 

Back in the eighties JRD (originally from Holland) got interested in dance music when New-beat and Acid-house was introduced. Since than he has been playing records and experienced the evolution of electronic dance music. 30 years later he is still on the block, releasing music on Token, MindTrip Record, Prophet Recordings and more to come. 

Back in the days he was the founder of the Dutch Resistance-concept in Antwerp (electro and techno) and one of the resident powers at Technoir (techno).

Known for his innovative approach, characterised by a fusion of pad-driven harmonies, intricate breaks and an industrial tone. Born in the East German town of Fürstenwalde, his musical roots were planted deep during a transformative period marked by the fall of the Berlin Wall when he was just 9 years old. Growing up alongside Marcel Dettmann and Marcel Fengler, he explored Berlin's dynamic post-reunification club scene and began mixing vinyls from Hardwax and Delirium which contributed to the development of his signature sound, a blend of jungle, drum 'n' bass, Detroit, IDM and UK bass.
