A sampler of one of our current live tracks. Inspired by listening to lots of Chris Clarke, and the gated pad loop on Front 242's 'Serial Killers Don't Kill Their Girlfriend'. The Full version is being premièred at UniqueBeats v2.0 in Edinburgh on 24/04/2010.

With the help of a few friends back in the day, No Input's Rhuari curated the rather
enjoyable experience we called "Oddcore."

Oddcore was a perfect lazy Sunday afternoon excuse to drink and talk nonsense,
whilst listen to an eclectic mix of music thrown together by a number of Edinburgh's
top talent in an uninhibited and completely unadulterated manner. The venue was fun,
many an Oddcore table football session was had and some seriously silly sounds were
listened to. Oh and does anybody remember the Alcoholic Trifles?

This, rather more sedate than usual but more poignantly Summery, mix was one of a
number of mixes broadcast by the now defunct interweb-based DilatedRadio. Whilst
not Rhuari's usual selection of noise, broken beats and general audio mayhem, it still
demonstrates his usual chaotic approach to "chucking together random stuff" in an
attempt to create a more holistic uneasy listening experience.

Does it work? Probably not. Does he care? Definitely not. Is it fun? Absolutely!
