Pool Boy is the side project of swiss-born Canadian producer Cyril Hahn. From an art student staying afloat with a menial job in a coffee shop to being Annie Mac-approved, his rise to prominence is a modern-day internet success story.

Rewind to 2013 when his pitch-shifted, game-changing reworks of
classics evolved from casual SoundCloud uploads to Annie Mac, Romy Madley-Croft-endorsed hits (yep – of The xx). This sudden trend was followed up a couple of critically acclaimed EPs on the great PMR Records. In 2018 as he started to move away from club-ready music, he started digging into a more pop-leaning, ambient, traditional listeing experience that led to the genesis of Pool Boy. In 2018, he releases his 1st Poolboy LP on Seb Wildblood's label Coastal Haze.

We are thrilled to welcome him back with a brand-new record to be
released on Noire & Blanche. 'All Inclusive', the upcoming 9 track LP, is a sun-drenched record bouncing between balearic, house, and ambient vibes. It has that light, exotic sound that you will be increasingly obsessed with and that will perfectly fit your sunset rides this summer.

Travelling along all these soundscapes and ambiances, Pool Boy invites his canadian fellow Pacific Colliseum (Teen Daze) on 'Pool House' for a cosmic house break. On another side, the LP will include a pack of 3 beautiful remixes from Gooch, Domenique Dumont and Khotin reflecting the variety of influences on this record.

i think going into 2025 id like to be a better person and improve on myself as this year ive been a total car wreck and im hoping i can do better with myself. however, this year has taught me so much with the world that i frankly don’t think i could’ve gone without. new friends, new and former lovers, arguments, consoling former relationships, everything has been a blast and if ive worried or treated you wrongly then im sorry. 

i think id also just like to be myself and seek as much help as i can, i have come close to suicide so much and a couple times i was either midway or just before it but i remembered who was there for me and what i spend my time attempting to do and ive stopped myself. i’ve cut myself an unbelievable amount of times and it’s still going on to a lesser extent over my own body and the issues i have faced. i’ve spent so much time hiding them because i don’t want people to worry or make fun of them however i think that it’s okay that i have these scars now. they show me who i used to be and that even though it’s tough at times, sometimes you just HAVE to keep going for yourself and the ones you love because otherwise you’re going to end up empty or you’ll be missed by people who loved you and held you close.

once again, to those ive wronged then im sorry and i hope we can reconcile. and thank you for taking your time reading my sad, pathetic little ramble :)
