Es el primer disco que produce el Proyecto Emerge, una iniciativa que desde el 2013 apoya a las nuevas generaciones de músicos, intérpretes y cantautores de Nicaragua, con financiamiento del Centro Cultural de España en Nicaragua (CCEN).

Con la coproducción musical del cantautor Mario Ruiz, este disco contiene siete canciones, de las cuales, tres son de creación colectiva: La vorágine, grabada en Honduras por Cesia Viurlet, Bruno Gallardo y Yuri Pineda; Calor y olvido, producida en el estudio de Casa Caníbal, del Centro Cultural de España en Costa Rica y cantada por Guadalupe Urbina, Cesia Viurlet y Ludwing Gómez; y Más allá, grabada en Guatemala por Cesia Viurlet, Andrés Somarriba y el guatemalteco Ishto Juevez.
Cuatro canciones son de propia autoría de cada uno de los ganadores de la séptima temporada Emerge: Cesia Viurlet, Bruno Gallardo, Ludwing Gómez y Andrés Somarriba Palma.
