We hosted 3 artists from the RAAA Performing Arts Festival which was held in Brescia from 11 to 13 November 2022. Thanks to the collaboration with Radio Raheem Milano we broadcast three hours of soundscape on 20 November.

Roberto Crippa is a sound artist and experimental musician who lives and works between Milan and London. Through a sculptural approach to sound matter, he explores the possible relationships between the physical and emotional qualities of perception, transforming the listener's physical environment into visceral and immersive soundscapes.

Elisabetta Porcinai lives and works in Berlin. Designer, author and interdisciplinary artist, in her practice - focused on non-linear creative processes and the dynamic relationship between thought, action and perception - poetry, figurative art, performance and sound art merge.

Luca Pagan (1993, Venice) is a sound artist, performer and researcher. His performances explore the relationship between physical movement, sound and environment. His approach is based on the self-design of wearable technologies and on the use of biotechnologies to capture the expressiveness of the performance with particular attention to machine learning techniques.

Chorus Abstracta are Francesco Fonassi (interlingua, quasai) and Michele and Simone Bornati (twoonky). The trio was born spontaneously from the collective experience of Villa No and Spettro, independent associations — now venue/club/studio — which have been cultivating and directing in Brescia since 2013.

RAAA is a festival that blurs the separation between artist and spectator, promoting a vision of the performing arts as a process of social connection and the production of a shared public space. The suburbs and the historic city center of Brescia are our theatre. Performances, workshops, exhibitions, screenings, installations, talks and concerts, outdoors and indoors, give life to a collective sharing that overcomes differences and erases the gap between cultures and "subcultures”.
