Carrier the Remainder

I found an interesting bug in the Phonogene last night.  If you patch a cable to Play and then turn the granular level way up, you start to hear these clicks and pops while the Phonogene is waiting for the voltage to play a sample.  The sound goes away if you mix the SOS back to the line-in vs. the internal sample.

Hopefully this gets addressed in the new version of the firmware.

UPDATE:  This is clock noise.

Here is an example track of the high pitch hum present in the Pittsburgh Modular Analog Replicator Module.

If the Time goes above 1 o'clock, the hum becomes audible.  The louder hum is in Long mode, where the Short mode hum is quieter.

As someone pointed to to me, on the Pittsburgh web site:

Mud and clock noise (whine) begin to leak in and eventually take over as the Analog Replicator reaches the longest available delay time.
