Canadian band The Dead South swung by our studio Noise Machines for a very special Live from Happy performance of their song ‘Broken Cowboy’ showing off their flavour of ‘Rock band without a drummer, Bluegrass band without a fiddler’.

‘Broken Cowboy’ is from their 2019 album ‘Sugar & Joy’ — which wasn’t supposed to be on the record — but has since become one of their most popular songs. They are currently on a tour around Australia and New Zealand, so we felt very honoured to host the two-time JUNO Award winning, Canadian and USA gold certified band.

Showing off their flavour of 'Rock band without a drummer, Bluegrass band without a fiddler’, they performed their rendition of "People Are Strange" by The Doors.

Perth indie-rockers Dice swung by our studio, Noise Machines — using brand new Fender Player Series guitars — for a stripped performance of their song 'Tough Love' for our Live From Happy series.

'Tough Love' comes from their sophomore EP, 'Time Will Tell' released in early May, on Tone City Records.

Pop-punk powerhouse singer Azure recently took the spotlight at our beloved studio, Noise Machines, as a featured artist for our Live From Happy series, and let us tell you, her performance was absolutely extraordinary!

Melbourne's @thebelairlipbombs  stopped by the studios to perform their single, ‘Suck It In’, a track from their debut release, ‘Lush Life’.

'Suck It In' is an indie rock track that effortlessly balances candid authenticity with heartfelt emotion. There’s a subtle smokiness in her timbre, adding depth to the lyrical tapestry woven throughout the songs. Maisie’s delivery, refreshingly authentic and unvarnished, is an absolute delight to listen to.

Teen Jesus and the Jean Teasers dropped by to grace us with a performance of their single 'Salt'.

Filmed and recorded in our very own Noise Machines studio, this talented pop punk band took the opportunity to showcase a track from their debut album, 'I Love You.'

Emerging onto the punk rock scene with fervour, Teen Jesus and the Jean Teasers have finally unveiled their highly-anticipated debut album, 'I Love You,' now available worldwide through Domestic La La.

Rum Jungle recently graced the Noise Machines, unveiling their latest musical gem, 'Echelon'.

Crafted during the confines of lockdown, this fresh release serves as a B side to their earlier release 'Dash Of Speed', meticulously produced within the confines of their home studio.

Owen recently swung by our Noise Machines studio for an exclusive Live from Happy session. 

He laid down the track 'Forever,' a heartfelt tribute to a love of days gone by. Even though time has marched on, this song still strikes a chord - it's got that enduring quality that just sticks with you.

Oliver Cronin dropped by Happy to share a rendition of his latest single, 'I Need You,' in an exclusive Live From Happy session.

The all-around sweetheart and talented singer-songwriter performed 'I Need You' at our Noise Machines studio. This tropical-influenced track, written during a songwriting trip in Los Angeles in late 2022, continues the dark-pop exploration seen in his recent releases.

In the midst of Sydney's Mardi Gras festivities, Bec Sandridge's take on 'Easy To Go Bad' is all about relationships – real, catchy, and stripped of any fancy production. Co-produced four years ago with Dave Jenkins Jr and featuring Andy Bull, this acoustic version goes back to basics, bringing out the raw energy of the track.

In an exclusive performance, Bec shares the song live for the first time, capturing the essence of Mardi Gras with a raw and poignant touch.
