Like every band, Noise Tales started with covering songs. This one was recorded in 2003. It's the theme song of the Fall Guy, their favorite TV show which was a must to play.

Decent Man In The West

12 years from now, Noise Tales composed a fine tune which set a starting point for further songwriting. Thus, Good Time always has been a special piece for the band. Now, in the progress of a second album, Good Time has been re-recorded as a decent kick-ass Indie Rock tune. Enjoy, folks!

Good Time (Album Version - DEMO)

Christmas is coming. And so is the annual Noise Tales Christmas cover. This is the 4th time Noise Tales did a cover version to cheer up folks on their Christmas holidays. Another Night was originally performed by German dance project MC S.a.r. and Real McCoy in 1995. 
By browsing through the charts from 20 years ago Noise Tales felt a kind of ashamed for so much shitty music in the charts when they were young. Noise Tales remembered this song which is really charming when it comes with a little sound polish.

Another Night (The Real McCoy Cover)

In 2015 Mirsch released his solo debut as Latex Distortion. It contained the song "Idols" in a more electronic version featuring Gary's vocals. In 2017 while practicing for a live show this Noise Tales version of the song came out of the blue and we instantly fell in love with that idea. Thus we recorded it to contribute our anthem for Summer 2017 - celebrate the lazy days!

Noise Tales put up this time a very specific cover version of another 90s dance classic. Written and performed by DJ Bobo, the song is based on some parts on sampling taken from "Somebody's Watching Me" by Rockwell. However, Noise Tales added some of their own lyrics and a striking riff in the verse to pay tribute to all their favorite alternative rock bands of the Nineties. All rights belong to the owners.

Noise Tales took the lyrics of the notorious Eiffel 65 classic „Blue (Da Ba Dee)“ word by word. Thus, the video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S_Axdp-5KJ8) shows what Noise Tales interpreted: A blue guy pours his heart out in a bar. The result is nice bar/jazz tune… which was supposed to be shot in a real nice bar. Luckily, Leipzig’s best craft beer bar „Dr. Hops“ provided an appropriate scenery and three Noise Tales friends helped out with camera and cast.

Blue (Da Ba Dee) // Eiffel 65 X-mas Jazz-Cover

Millstone Blues, once written during a spontaneous recording session in May 2007, contains some autobiographical elements and has set a cornerstone for the following Noise Tales recordings. The song was released on 1-bit-Wonder under the synonym "Gary West" where LGM 97 drummer "Funky Lothar" contributed his percussion play. A visit from singer Karin Huebler with Sandro W. et al. during the recordings topped the song off when the background vocs were added.

Good, Good Life was written and recorded around 2008, even though it already existed in other versions. For the new release, Noise Tales, most importantly, added the cowbell and remastered the original track, which was published under the pseudonym Gary West on the web label 1-bit Wonder.
