Driven by fervent music love, Mendi's diverse influences shape her sets with dark atmospheres, powerful rhythms, dissonances, and captivating melodies. Who may concern: este podcast grabado íntegramente a vinilo contiene fragmentos de algunos de mis álbumes favoritos, esos que te traen paz. Todos los temas fueron seleccionados en una tarde lluviosa de sábado, de final de verano, para ser unidos en un domingo todavía mas lluvioso. Este set una buena metáfora del fin del verano, del fin de una de mis fases, y de los cambios que la vida nos presenta. A veces podemos elegir cuando las cosas cambian, y a veces simplemente tenemos que abrazar los cambios. Espero que estas canciones lleguen a los oídos de quien necesite esta paz como lo han hecho conmigo. Agradecimientos especiales a DJF, que ademas de sonar uno de sus temas, es responsable directo de que tenga la mitad de los tracks de este set. Muchos de los discos que puedes escuchar, son algunas de las recomendaciones de "Jaime este disco no te lo puedes no llevar, es una puta pasada" y cuanta razón tenía. State Of Play W/ Paul Hierophant & Lee Cee- 21st - September -23| Threads

Hablar de Black Dog productions es hablar de la historia de la electrónica, llevan en ella desde que los estilos se fraguaron siendo en parte protagonistas de ello. Una banda Británica que supo sacar sentido propio a los sintetizadores y que trata como muy pocas el ritmo y su dibujo.

Hoy por hoy, ya sea por Plaid, ya sea por los Black dog propiamente dichos, siguen soltando musicón al que atender relamidos de ello. No obstante hacemos especial hincapié en sus primeros 20 años de obra que fue donde realmente marcaron diferencia.

Paralelamente, “el perro negro” es una expresión británica que evoca a la depresión, late motiv del aka y de las idas y venidas del líder del proyecto. Esa es la historia humana que acompaña tangente a la de su propia fábula, a la de las épocas donde se sucedió y sobretodo al increíble metraje musical que editaron y editan.
