The selection is filled with emotions from my travels and my return to France. Ambient, dubstep, trance, downtempo, cumbia, bass music, breaks, indie, or house, there is a bit of everything I missed for the past months.

Da Iguana is the solo musical project of Pierre, a French traveller, multidisciplinary & nomadic artist based in France. Since his first official release in 2018, the LP "Itzamna" on Berlin-based downtempo label Urban Cosmonaut Radio, he step by step gained exposure to become a respected act in psychedelic, tribal and multicultural electronic music scenes.

One of the most prolific producers on the scene, he worked on EPs, LPs, collabs, edits and remixes with many respected imprints : Hard Fist (FR), Playground Records (AR/ES), Random Collective (CR), Tepeme Musica (MX), Caballito Netlabel (ES), Shango Records (GR), Curuba Records (FR), Casa Caos (BR), Jux (FR), Kontrapost (DE), SABI (JP), Copycow (DE) and more.

Mash-up lover and sound explorer in love with fusion of styles, from Cumbia Digital to Organic Downtempo, Psychedelic & Indie House to Tribal Techno, percussive Bass Music or Ambient works, always playing around with groovy bass gimmicks, percussions, psychedelic sound design, traditional music sampling and real instruments (guitar, bass guitar, oud, kalimbas, djembe, bongos, congas, darbuka, singing...).

With a blend of Spanish electronic and Afro House rhythms, each beat serves as a reminder that the past is a memory and the future a dream. The music flows like the heartbeat of existence, inviting you to lose yourself in the moment, where all that truly exists is the rhythm of life. Surrender to the dance of now, and realize that in this fleeting moment, we are infinite.

We ares proud to present the new release Kusht - Vardo.

When Kusht decided to leave Scotland and explore the world he had no idea of all the great wonders that would come to him, Vardo is his Ode to travel and feels it will touch others who have also chosen a life of movement. A Vardo is a Romani Wagon or most commonly knows as a Gypsy Wagon, the opening Edit on the LP is that of an old Gypsy Love song "Ketri Ketri". Making an entrance "West" shows his want to travel to Latin America and spend time with the countless influences from over the pond. We then take an adventure with "Zorio's Blackbird" flying its way to the top of the mountain where we meet the crazy collaboration between Kusht and his father R Gold with this Acoustic Cowbell Onomatopoeia showdown "Twangklang". Finally we retreat into the arms of "Tarzan" who shows us there can be the strongest of love between two strangers. 

Kusht takes inspiration from all over the world especially Africa and Latin America, he ties them to the sounds of the cold north and his Celtic roots to create a harmonious fusion of cultures. Vardo is organic and soft yet with some room rumbling moments, this is one to enjoy a hot cup of tea on a cold morning sunrise. ​​​​​​​​​​
