Noitaperho is a Finnish rock band playing moody and melancholic folk music with northern roots - filtered through Celtic, Slavic and Mediterranean world-music tunes.

The palette of sounds is based on combining acoustic instruments like bouzouki, tin whistle and acoustic guitar with walking bass and echoed Stratocaster played through tube amps, and jazzy vintage drums all tied together with rich vocals and haunting harmonies.

Noitaperho blurs the lines between genres. The result is a warm, emotional and otherworldly soundscape. The music is insistently eclectic, and the range of influences can stretch to encompass ‘70s progressive rock, punk, jangle pop, folk melodies, hillbilly twang and gothic Americana – as well as vibes from Finland, Sweden, Ireland, Balkans and Sahara – in a single song.
