Luis Miranda, one of the most exciting new talents to break out of the techno scene, is back on AnalyticTrail with his solo EP “Saturation”
After his first appearance on the label, Luis debuts with a special solo EP selected by Markantonio himself who includes the second track “Vaseline Check” with an unconventional Raw Techno sound and “Concentrate on Acid”
Born in Madrid the Spanish talent moved to Los Angeles where he’s already popular and not only. In the past years he played at Burning Man, Genius Loci Fest and at big clubs such as Fabrik, Privilege, Baum, Vertigo, Moloko also thanks to the exposition gained with his previous releases on big labels such as Phobiq, Loose Records, Prospect, KD Raw, Odd Recordings just to name few.

Following their releases on Haven, Bite, and R-Label Group we are ecstatic to welcome New Frames (@newframesofficial) with their premier EP for LFEK.
Their A1 track delivers an opening volley in the form of a genuine diesel engine. “Heart Racer” goes full throttle with rolling acid arpeggiators and bittersweet melodies. A track we eagerly await in one of their infamous live sets.
In A2 “Burn Rate” offers a claustrophobic vision with its phantom whispers and pumping bass lines.
The B side kicks off with another entry into the ever-expanding, micro-genre bending multiverse of New Frames. B1 “Final Fantazy” delivers high octane action as breakbeats go head to head with trance stabs. And finally in B2 “Givv Fukk” ghetto riffs find themselves strapped onto industrial drums.

Indonesian artist Ecilo debuts on We Are The Brave with his industrial, raw techno masterpiece ‘White Lane’. Kicking things off with ‘Alien Blackmail’, the Jakarta born artist delivers a fast paced techno weapon, tied together with powerful rides and kick drops. Next up, industrial loops and driving rhythms keep ‘Maschine Nation’, hypnotically pulsing to the final beat. Rough and ready Detroit inspired stabs on ’Move Away’ give way to a never-ending climax of groove. Ecilo closes the EP with his wonky panel beater ‘White Lane’.

Knaldrang is a raw and popping tune with mad laser like synths. It's pure power for the club. Linkerhoover then blasts off with hardcore bass and squared off drums that kick like a mule, all with plenty of main room energy. The Woffler keeps the rave going with some serrated synths and a barrelling groove that would knock down entire buildings. Lower East Side closes down with a more stripped back groover but one that is still lit up with bright rave synths and a menacing late night vibe.

With this EP, this vital pair demonstrate exactly what the mind wants and the body needs.

Pan-Pot return to their Second State imprint to serve up the label's sixth release this year. The illustrious Second State has been fostering the sound of some of techno’s biggest tastemakers and emerging artists for several years, with releases throughout 2021 so far being some of their strongest ones to date. "Voodoo Signs" EP however, is a shift from their usual productions, incorporating a breakbeat sound throughout the record, a step away from the duo’s familiar straight ahead techno weapons.

Hugely atmospheric and packed with conflicting elements, “Voodoo” is the punchier cut of the two tracks on the record. A palpitating muffled kick launches and is quickly joined by rapid percussion and dancing hi-hats that weave throughout the heaviness. As things develop, these turbulent elements are smoothly subdued to let doomy wails echo and build to a crescendo. The main vocal sample meshes with several other voices that ominously quaver over the original. A stabbing melody is then introduced, skittering over the foundations with broken beat drum hooks moving in unison.

On the flip side is “Signs”, a peak time fast paced club track with a driving beat. A stifled kickdrum and a singular bleating tone start things off, before the full weight of the drum is unleashed. A dark looming bass builds on top of cracking percussion and claps until it’s replaced by a distorted male vocal sample crying out “searching, searching”. In the second half, the bleating tone is pushed into the minor key and the bass looms, menacingly. The kick drum returns while the vocal sample becomes increasingly distorted until it fades out. A breakbeat cuts through the noise, switching up the energy and reinstating the hectic, club atmosphere.
