Jake Kaufman - Mighty Switch Force OST - 04 BGM - Caught Red Handed

This track will be the intro track from the upcoming 4th Elancia album. I wanted to strike a balance between the upbeat nature of "To Get By" from the first album, and "Under the Moons and the Rain" from the third album. 
All that's really left for me to do on this is place a few more melodies in and finish the outro. I'm not happy with any of the melodies or outros I've come up with yet, so here's all there is so far. Enjoy!

Into the Frontier [WIP]

Whew, it took quite some time to toast this out huh? I always wanted to remix "Go Straight" from Streets Of Rage 2 so bad. And it took some time for me to finally hop back on it. After MAGFest, and a computer reformatting, I decided to complete this joint - good old Detroit House style, keeping the awesomeness of the original while I give my own spin on it. 
Time to grab your roller skates and keep your steel pipe ready and beat some baddies! :D

Since it was a jam game, I didn't have long to spend on this (probably would have made it longer otherwise), but I'm happy with how it fit with the game. I tried to give it an "unstable" sound by varying the tempo and timing the notes in the melody so that they land at slightly unusual times.

This track was inspired by Streets of Rage (should be obvious), Eve Burst Error, YU-NO and a neighbor that was playing piano at the time I was making this. A good part of the song was made originally for an OHB, I took the opportunity to remake it and add everything I wanted to.
