As Dualism accepted to record a studio session for our Freaky Kitchen Setblock on the Zurich based GDS.FM Internet Radio, I'd already got my Christmas present!

The two artists share life and work together, spreading love and having good ideas like the deep.slow.emotional concept, running the own label Numbolic and making a lot of good things happen.

Their set introduced me from the first minute to foggy musical landscapes and spiritual highness; from then on I wasn’t able to stop listening. The slow and carefully selected progression of catchy rhythms and hypnotic sounds makes of this set a milestone for Freaky Kitchen, so that it will be very hard for me to select the next one! ;-)

Co-owner of the Wiggle events & label Terry is a brilliant turntable technician who’s DJ sets are all about having as much fun & causing as much mischief as possible while twisting the madness that little but further. One of the true gentlemen of our scene, Terry is the real deal, a hilarious character & has a heart of gold to boot. I love Terry Francis.

The sound Nokken creates, encourages a unique and special energy. Nokken's dark moody productions reflect the sounds that can be found in his DJ sets, be it Deep & Tech House, Minimal or Techno. Based in London and South Africa Nokken has collaborated on productions and on stage with underground artists; local and international, helping to shape his sound, staying true to what he believes and having the opportunity to learn from some truly exceptional talent! 
 
Since arriving in London in 2004 from Johannesburg, South Africa, Nokken has remained true to his unique underground sound and has performed at almost every worth-while major & minor electronic music club and music bars across London as well as playing at large underground warehouse parties and throwing his own events in London the urban culture and underground music centre. Nokken has also played at numerous record release parties locally in London and abroad in Berlin & Hamburg for his own releases and as support to other notable artists.

When Nokken arrived in London at age 20, he had already been mixing music for 10 years, starting out with a dodgy mixer, a non-pitch controlled turntable and tape decks. Nokken went to his first warehouse ‘rave’ at age of 12 and was playing at house parties by the time he was 14 and landed his first club gig at 16 years old at Johannesburg’s Carfax club due to his young talent and impeccable beat mixing on turn tables. By the time Nokken left for London, he and a number of friends had been hosting and promoting parties under their ‘Deep In Touch’ dj crew name, with Nokken closing for the established artists they would have playing at their parties, at some of the most unique locations, like a chicken farm, in Johannesburg!
 
Nokken began with producing his own music in 2008, with a number of tracks being released on very respectable electronic music labels. Nokken has done remixes for many artists which include MIIA, Johnny Aemkel, Oleg Pw, Mitod Emiliano Ferreyra, and Shibby Shitegeist. Nokken also has two album releases on D.M.T Records and Lethal Dose.
 
Nokken also runs a podcast mix series called Incube8 Virus Podcast Series, which were carefully gathered mixes of underground artists from around the globe and united them through their unique sounds, and at the time was at the fore-front in the underground scene for listeners of intelligent underground electronic music.
