So don't for one blink think we don't see that fake smile in the crowd, in awhile it'a cry out

Thinking you losing yo mind, i got cousins locked up losing they time "You gone Be aight.."
Thinking they losing they time when i learned from mine. It's kids out here losing they life "you gone Be aight.." We all children of something.

I used to wanna be 12 when i was a Elf, til i grew up,
seen us gunned down, & gang signs threw up. Struck not fear but hate into us.
Energy cannot be created or destroyed, only transferred. So when you pulled that handgun tantrum, the soul from the fallen, we took it all in.
& Ancestry calling tryna collect my labor coins to tell me where i'm from.
The same that told us milk made you strong, held physical strength to the Sun & owned dairy farms.
Stupid for thinking we stupid. I could talk all day bout the hearts y'all break, & the things we kill for.
I'll kill for mine but my intention is to never kill yours, dream.
