Gus ls working on the Bus
ln the episcopalian Parklng lot
and even got two hundred dollars from the congregation-

Stu he's got a Visa card which he never uses
Ubered over to the lucky Ladles where he's playing black jack
hoping for a Major Parlay--Hoping for a major Parlay-----

Larry and Roberta, while beggin for some buckshees
and playin music on the corner at the farmers market
met a Sufi sitting on the sidewalk
serenely spouting scripture from the Transcendental Dharma of the Dumpling--

Along with baking soda, salt, wheat and water
A heavy leavening of responsibility ls required ln the making--
And some mushrooms from Oaxaca-lf you wanna make that dumpling, she sald
you're gonna have to go
To Mexico--:)

I extracted 6 parts from an old track of mine. These are initially exposed in sequence, subsequently the processing was done by altering exclusively the speed and duration of each part. The piece from which I extracted the 6 parts was built with csound, the subsequent reworking was also done with csound and then mixed with audacity.

method: sound sources (crave, voice, field recordings, behringer swing into samplitude – cello, choir, chapel organ ) and recording and morphing devices (zoom r20, samplitude)
narration: the cycle ON PRINTING deals with projections, representations, pattern recognition, the energy of awareness, objectification and the like. it consists of six poems: rubble - horse - relic - spawn - banner- offset. this poem sonified is banner and banner wards off intrusion. I remember writing this poem as an act of self-defence on a train ride with sonically extensive human beings …..

to cling to the counterpoint
of silence within

not composed
of anything but surfaces rough
and unaligned, these clusters

drowns out common
respite
