This was made with a soundtrack I wanted to use from silent hill the movie. I spent quite a bit of time editing this sample to fit with the BPM but tried to maintain the atmosphere. With the bassline I just tried to keep it simple, and added sounds to the progression of the track.

Crushed Hope (2012)

I had fun making this tune. I just distorted the hell out of the reeses, and used an Lfo on the Lp filter, it took some time to get it sounding the way I wanted. I already had an idea that I wanted to strip it down after the first 32bars after the drop and I thought that it worked to a standard. 

The Negotiator

This was a track I made when I first got Zeta 2, I never used the first edition of this plugin, but heard it was brilliant for creating sounds. I had an idea that I  wanted a gap in the beat with A hook at the end of 16 bars. It was the first tune that I spent a while experimenting with different arrangements.

Wastelands

I wanted to go with Amen breaks on this track, so I spent some time editing them and resampling. I had some good feedback for this track and enjoyed making it.

Beyond The Stars

I made this track with some audio samples from Mass Effect 2, I just liked the sound of the womens voice. I used single hits for my beat, and mostly Zeta 2 for my bass parts. Along with audio for different sfx.

Anomoly

This tracks intro was made with a sample I made with zeta and then resampled it and mess about with it through camel space.
The beats are single hits and the bass, and arps with zeta 2.

Down Fall

This is a track I made with a variation of samples and synths for the bass parts, had the idea already about having steppy broke up drums but thought they worked ok. Vocal sample came from an interview.

Hidden Fears

I use mainly samples for this track, cutting bass part from different samples and messing them about to create a riff, Im a fan of my girl and thought id use some funny bits from that.
The drums are from a sample pk. 

Camel Clutch With Vox

Had a lot of fun with this one, I know the mix isn't great but will upload it all the same.

Choices

All of this track was made with Zeta2, obviously apart from the beats. Had a lot of good feedback from friends on this one.

Outer Limits Tester

I am a Drum & Bass amatuer producer, I have followed the DnB scence for around 17 years, I have had experience in DJing in pubs and clubs, and have been producing for around 5 years. I have an extensive knowledge of different types of genres. I mainly nowadays follow the harder neurophunk sound, but can enjoy a well produced tracks aswell. My favourite artists are Noisia, Black sun empire, Rido, Phace & Misanphrop, to name a few. I use Cubase 5 Midi keyboard and various software plugins. ie, fabfilter eqs, wave limiters compressors and reverbs, camelphat, izotope ozone, and Zeta 2 for creating sounds, I also like to use samples from different things i come across.
