Obra acusmática basada en sonidos sampleados de una serie de instrumentos tradicionales del altiplano andino boliviano: tarkas, charango ronroco, sikus laquita y sikuriadas, cajas y bombos diversos.
 
Desde hace tres años he estado trabajando en Bolivia con la Orquesta Experimental de Instrumentos Nativos (que hace música contemporánea con instrumentos de tradición aimara y quechua). Tejidos Rebeldes IV es una continuación de este trabajo "por otros medios". Se trata de una obra acusmática basada en sonidos sampleados de una serie de instrumentos tradicionales del altiplano andino boliviano: tarkas, charango ronroco, sikus laquita y sikuriadas, cajas y bombos diversos. Forma parte de una serie de obras, con este mismo título, que se relaciona con músicas indígenas mesoamericanas y sudamericanas, desde la óptica de Centroamérica. La metáfora sonora proviene de la rica tradición de tejidos que, de alguna manera, refleja la compleja y contradictoria imbricación de las culturas nativas en nuestras sociedades contemporáneas.

Recorded in 2001, this track by Graham Halliwell (alto saxophone/live electronics) and Simon-Mary Vincent (live electronics) displays Halliwell's subtle, refined approach to the saxophone within an electroacoustic environment, together with Simon Vincent's fluid electronic improvisations, branching out from the ground-breaking minimal work already recorded and performed by the trio VHF (Vincent/Halliwell/Fell) in the late 90s.
