This set by our beloved @aka-tumsi aka @gaisma is a journey through downbeat dives, jungly rhythms down to dark and acidy tunes. Our little oasis at Kesselfestival turned out to be the perfect space to find som shelter from the merciless sun that weekend - could not have turned out much better.

Lucia Haze is a Mexican artist who has been on the scene since 2012. Her silky mixing combined with her musical style of soft techno and house rhythms earned her a spot in top nightclubs in Mexico City. She eventually went on to play at sought-after festivals around Mexico, including EDC and Pal Norte. Lucia has expanded beyond mixing and into her own live act which she calls “Sexy Vocals.” Blending her voice with techno, tropical and deep house, Lucia has created something that is ethereal, groovy and feminine. She has toured the US, Argentina and Colombia, receiving international recognition and accolades. In 2016, she was awarded “Best Deep House DJ” by DJ World and in 2018, she made the “Bud Light Hit Makers” list with her single “That Life”. Additionally, she was a finalist in Buenos Aires’ “Musikplatz: Musikrennen” and in 2020, DJane Mag Latin America included her in their top 100 at LATAM level at position 80. Lucia currently lives in New York City which has led her to a weekly residence at Moxy Chelsea, Fleur Room and shows in emblematic spots. Today she has 27 singles across digital platforms with more than two million plays and was recently signed to Insomniac Recs. STNS sub-label which has had a big impact on her career.

Ninja Hagens DJ-Dasein begann irgendwo im Schwarzwald mit exzessivem Kassetten-Mixtaping, bei dem alle Regeln der Kohärenz gebrochen wurden. Weil von Bandsalat der Bizeps schrumpft, stieg sie irgendwann auf Vinyl um und rollt seit etwa 6 Jahren mit ihrem Partykoffer in Deutschlands Clubs oder über internationale Festivalwiesen. Ninjas aktuelle Homebase ist München, wo sie am häufigsten hinter dem Pult im Legal, im Goldenen Reiter oder im Harry Klein anzutreffen ist. Sie ist Teil der Crew vom Münchner gewaechshouse-Kollektiv und produziert Tracks für das Label Superpartyrecords.

Für ihren Mix hat sie sich für ein Vinyl-Only Set entschieden, welches aus Platten von 1990 aufwärts zusammensetzt und aus ihren Lieblingsläden in London, Barcelona, Brüssel und natürlich München zusammengeshoppt wurde.

Ein fantastisches Liquidsound Festival in der Toscana Therme Bad Orb ist wieder vorbei. Ich hatte die Ehre das ganze mit einem gemütlichen Set zum Sonnenaufgang zu Ende zu bringen.
Nun hier zum Nachhören. Also Schwimmflügel ausfahren, ein warmes Glas Wasser in die Küche stellen und ab geht die Schneckenpost.
