Mixed on the Truckee River on Donnie Island 7-8-2013 during a renegade party.  This is the middle hour of a 3 hour set I had the pleasure of playing on an island on the Truckee River just North of Lake Tahoe!  we floated the equipment over to the island on rafts and had at it!

This is not a party mix, although there are celebratory moments.  This is heART opening music, with soul crushing glimpses.  This is the telling of an epic saga tale, that could not be summarized in one hour with words.  And so, I was invited to attempt with contemplative music.  Grief for a loved one who has passed on - with a ripple effect that can be felt across decades of community love.  Together, we hold space for this moment of love and loss, of memories and the clinging to of small beautiful details, of celebration for an entity that remains with us as we continue to hold close in the quiet spaces. of. our hearts. <3

This mix series is an exploration of soundscapes I've been traveling through live settings in the past two years.
