For our 49th installment of Sonic Cocktails we have Dirtybird's own, Wyatt Marshall.


Previously producing under the alias Elevator Musik, Wyatt saw releases on labels such as Audiophile XXL, Nite Records, Anabatic, Laser Native, Billions, OKNF, and of course Dirtybird. 



After changing his alias to his birth name and refining his sound, things are beginning to come together for this rising young star.


You may have seen him dropping his insane original tracks during the Dirtybird Campout Family Set, or heard him on Claude VonStroke's BIRDHOUSE podcast. Wherever you may have caught him, one thing is for sure. he is one to keep an eye on.

I’m dripping in sweat, I can’t even barely sway side to side, the heat and the humanity are more than a fire marshal would allow in this Chicago underground spot called Primary. It’s my first time watching some fella named @GeneFarris perform. Wire-to-wire, his energy is at eleven. He moves and grooves nonstop as his fingers work the knobs and controls to conjure up the dankest, dirtiest, illest rhapsody of rhythm.

This was the birth of the eponymous music project with my brother Danny called, “Hakola”. It was the moment when I knew I couldn’t just dance anymore; I had to make others dance too. Just like Gene did. We’re stoked and honored to present you our remix of Gene Farris’ “Under Pressure”.
