A Name

NOMAD is the common place of Carlos P, Mario Bergantiños (Treze Monos, Offbeat) y Jaime de la Hidalga (El Giro de la Sierpe, Malasanta) where they experiment and make their passion for music real. NOMAD is the result of the personal search of these three individual guys, who have the feeling of not belonging anywhere, or to any style of music.  

With their last record (Choices, 2018 Rock Estatal Records), recorded and mixed by R. Moranis in Marditos Roedores Studios, and mastered by Troy Glessner in Spectre Studios (Devin Townsend, Death Cab for Cutie, Pentagram) in Seattle, NOMAD is making a great leap forward in quality and showing what they are capable of doing in eight intense songs. These eight songs embrace a wide variety of styles, from the most complex, Soundgarden-like ones, to more direct ones, like QOTSA do, or more elaborated, A Perfect Circle´s type; but always keeping their own identity: a very blunt and particular language, and very well finished melodies.  

NOMAD´s front cover was painted by the well known artist from Toledo Ángel Rodríguez Robles, who has collaborated with the band in the making of the art of the album, which represents the material and stylistic diversity of the band.
