Submerged is a fusion of breakbeats, Electro and modular synthesis. The main lead sound was captured from a live modular studio jam.
It is planned to be released as part of Art Mechanical COG004 along with similar pieces of electronic music.

heyyyya as always out to all the real heads that made it here to track description - u are truly the cream of the nation. i present to u the recording of my first set after lockdown! was a kinda intense one, put a lot of pressure on myself I guess after having had to cancel my "first set after lockdown" twice prior to this event. was stressed during and after due to some tech issues (apologies for some record skipping incidents) and other factors so initially was like "yeah that was a disaster", but as usual after listening to the recording I felt a lot better about it and even, I dare say, may have decided it was a bit of a banger. also yeah i have coronavirus rn so soz in advance for this rambling stream of consciousness, dont even know what im trying to communicate at this point. yeah i guess just take a listen to the mix and hmu in the comments for track ids xxx

The third just stretchin' release comes with tracks from fl_000, His Master's Voice and Session Restore. A compilation of tracks by three guys who know each other very well from Hanover. The sound varies from uk infused breaks to warm housey patterns. A very dynamic EP with many interesting facets.

The Exaltics need no further introduction.. operating since 15 years now and become one of the stalwarts of the international underground electro scene. Robert Witschakowski-Jockel founded the project The Exaltics in 2006 as well as the electro/ techno label SolarOneMusic with his long term friend Nico Jagiella. Since then he published countless 12"s and several LP's with labels like Clone, Creme Organization, Bunker or his own label SolarOneMusic and worked during that time with outstanding artists like Drexciya's Gerald Donald, Helena Hauff or the legendary Martin Gore from Depeche Mode.

He turned his deep cinematic and most of all charismatic electro into his own trademark.

The collection contains 13 Tracks recorded between 2009-2019 including tracks from long out stock titles first time on vinyl. Probably the best overview over the world of The Exaltics.

Sydney-based Jensen Interceptor, who usually slides from Detroit electro and Miami bass to italo, 90s breaks, EBM and techno in his sets and productions, dove exclusively into his electro crates for this 2-hour journey through the sound we love. 

Check up for his releases on @cultivated-electronics, @cpurecords and @boysnoizerecords, which gained support from Dave Clarke, Helena Hauff, Radio Slave and others.

Mechatronicast #7: Jensen Interceptor

London-based Australian Assembler Code (@assemblerc) burst on to the electro scene some years back, and has since then built an impressive discography through solo releases and collaborations with Jensen Interceptor, spanning across a variety of labels including his own International Chrome and Mechatronica.

Mechatronicast #16: Assembler Code

Whilst we love speaking to and featuring the work of established artists, nothing quite beats the thrill of introducing new players who are doing it right with verve and passion. Enter stage left NVST, AKA Pablo Brutalo, a relatively new player on the Swiss scene. NVST has been DJing for several years and has already gone on to release a tape of her music, along with promoting various parties in her home country. We’ve been gifted with a podcast ripe and exploding with battered breaks and sleazy acid, fulfilling our deepest auditory and kinetic desires. We took a little time to speak to NVST about her background, the various projects she’s involved in and the creative results of running around Lithuanian forests for a weekend.

Owners of the London-based modular synth store and masters of improvisation; London Modular Alliance may be one of the most breath-taking collectives in the contemporary electro scene. Their live act set up is far from the regular. 

Their productions hold the same military precision as their sets. Counting a number of releases on labels such as Hypercolour Records and ART Records, the trio have developed an ingenious attitude in the studio that is fresh and innovative every time. 

For our next DETECT, London Modular Alliance graced us with an exclusive mix heaving with unheard material.
